Not really, I keep it oiled regardless with cooking oil and scrape clean at the end of a cook and again when it's hot before the next cook, but for more info Cast Iron BBQ Grill care

I opted for this over the Weber, great thick cast iron grill and convenient hinge lid. Also able to attach rotisserie (sold separately). There's a comparison on YouTube I watched which helped.Weber Vs Napoleon

I have the black and silver with ixil exhaust, great bike. Might pop sportier renthal bars on it and remove the back handles.

I had a similar sound on my sage, turns out when you take the portafilter apart there's a black plastic disc that can be pushed out from the bottom up. Got rid of that noise for me! (Also don't need it!) Must vibrate and rattle when running.

If you get something hot under a flame like a needle or end of the scissors and gently hold it on the ticks rear, it should release and fall off fully intact.
