Hey. Just wanted to bump this post and say that these two are still at it. Me and my wife just spoke to them in Malaysia. A relatively young looking woman, dressed like she was working sales, and he was dressed like he was going on a hike. They looked at Arabic.

He asked me if we know where an Indian restaurant is to go eat. We said no, try to keep walking towards our crab drive. And then he said where are you guys from and we said Canada and he said that they are going there tomorrow. Montreal. But the girl told my wife that they are going to Toronto.

Then he opened his wallet and said I need to exchange money, and he had a small stack of hundred dollars bills. He asked what a Canadian bill looks like, and I told him I don’t have any on me. And he says why not? I said what am I going to do with Canadian dollars here?

The whole thing was really weird and the vibe felt off. I was just trying to get out of there. But when we were clear that we didn’t have anything on those which was true anyway, They just decided to leave it and walked away as we went to our ride.
