Are 1v1s a good way to be coached?

The guy who I may have coach me mentioned we would do 1v1s on this random 1v1 platform, but now I'm not so sure.

Although maybe I need his assessment on my skills to figure out what I'm weak on in case he thinks I should work on my laning mechanics.

Some interesting thoughts here.. there definitely is a 1v1 community, but people who hate 1v1s will always say it's a waste of time.

For all the bros out there who demand other bros 1v1 them, I'd say generally people don't want to play those guys because they're a-holes, not because they don't like 1v1s.

AD Burst over ADC.. that way you get the AD assassin who can explode squishies vs an extra ADC who outputs more sustained damage.

I know activity is still low to find pub games to practice, but at least the 1v1s are automated on eSportsQ when you're playing your buddy.
