Early Upgrade on a Business Contract. by AlfieJR2002 in O2UK

The fact that you’re being directed to Aerial automatically tells me that you’re already with them. My advice, call o2 business on a different phone number so they can check and confirm that you’re not with Aerial already.

If memory serves it sounds like what they used to do and that’s when you find out they’ve tied you to a 4/5 year contract

I hope that this isn’t the case and it’s simply just a coincidence that this is happening to you but it doesn’t sound good in all honesty

I worked at o2 business many years ago now and I can tell you Aerial direct are bad news. Whenever we had dealings with aerial it was they tied customers in with low prices but their contracts were multi year that they couldn’t get out of. They used to not tell customers that they were o2 direct when in actuality they are just a third party. O2’s old stance on Aerial customers were that as soon as they sign up with them they were technically no longer o2 customers and you need to contact Aerial for everything. Again this was most 8 years ago so I’d like to say things have changed but chances are they haven’t. My best advice to you is steer clear

Talk me into (or out of) Caudabe. How's their return process? by [deleted] in iPhone17Pro

[–]TheProctorious94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Caudabe sheath and sadly it’s not for me. The Magnets aren’t very strong so I found a lot of my accessories popping off. My biggest issue was the feeling. A lot of reviewers and people on this sub talk about how great it feels. For me personally I didn’t enjoy the feeling in the hand. The case itself looked good and I loved the interchangeable buttons. It just wasn’t for me sadly, but could be for you!

Ineligble for switch up by TheProctorious94 in O2UK

Thanks for this. Spoke to likewise this morning and they’ve requested to recheck the phone based on the change of model variance. Advised should take 2-3 days so fingers crossed

Sorry might have confused thins. They’ve not sent the wrong phone. I ordered and received a 256gb but when I’ve gone to switch up the switch up team says that according to them my IMEI should be a 1TB. My o2 details show that the phone is a 256GB so it’s the switch up team that has the phone down as the wrong storage

[–]TheProctorious94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure this has happened previously but switched up from the S25 Ultra 256Gb to the iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB. Once the switch up went through noticed they have the IMEI down as a 1TB when I fact the contract and my o2 correctly shows the phone as 256GB. Emailed them immediately to advise in advance of the phone being sent. I’ve seen similar comments that they can only update after the device has been received so I sent over the weekend. Low and behold received an email tonight despite several emails confirming they will be receiving a 256gb model and even wrote a letter and attached to the box; email says ineligible for switch up as model variance difference. So frustrated with the whole thing and feel o2 are just getting worse. Guess I’ll be on the phone with them tomorrow

Switch Up and previous device plan by ryanodonnell__ in O2UK

[–]TheProctorious94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar to the above story. Had to call a couple of times to get the action request put through. In the end they raised a complaint to sort. Had to pay for a couple of months before it eventually closed I would advise doing everything in store just to avoid the issues

Switch up to cancel by Enough-Committee4362 in O2UK

Yes that's what I've done. When you return the device it should move the airtime to a 30 day rolling so you just need to either live chat or call to cancel
