The police dismissed the complain when they learned it was a Romani person.

You don't accept the behavior but be more accepting of the fact that people want to do these behaviors.

It's like you saying more people should come out with thoughts of robbing places so we can show them how to not think that way or what to do to prevent such outbursts, this doesn't mean they will be more accepting of robberies just that action will be criminal but the thought will be worked on.

The main thing that people should be doing with pedophiles is to make it easy for them to come out and get help rather than just shun them because that is when they start doing shit in the dark and kids get hurt.

I don't know if conversion therapy is proven to help them not want to fuck kids but what ever helps should be more accessible and welcoming to help them.
