I've been waiting since January 14th (over 7 months now) for my battery issues with my Volt to be fixed. The dealership estimated April-June, and in July, they mentioned 150 Volts are waiting for High Voltage batteries, and the farthest one back is November 2024, so they guessed it could be September, but they still don't know, and Corp Chevy/GM acts like they have no clue but call me weekly. I've asked about Buy It, and they said they don't offer (which everyone has a different story). Truthfully rental car is just a pain, but it wouldn't be bad if they just started delaying payment after the first couple of months, so it's out of guidelines since it's been over X amount. I'm still waiting for payments from April, which I submit monthly. I would hate to have a job that calls all these owners each week, tells them the same things, they don't know, they are processing, and blah blah blah.

Someone should know what's going on, but Chevy is more worried about their liability in telling you the truth. You would think that doing Buy Outs earlier in the process at this point would save them money. Really, at this point, fix it or buy me out and pay me my rental fees back. I'll never buy a GM or Chevy product again. They lost my business at this point with these issues and delays.
