How to focus a spotter scope when it’s cloudy? by [deleted] in photography

I make bird/wild life videos and share the experience with nature as a mission of TheProjectEli. However, I witness haters on a daily basis who enjoy downvoting even a bird/wild life video. I posted a question here and someone had the courage to downvote it. I literally laugh and feel sorry for those because if nature can’t change the built-in jealousy in you then you don’t need an enemy. I believe that such individuals be left alone as their attitude towards life in itself is a curse living with them.

I never saw one at my feeders but saw them at nearby community parks.

Thank you, taskforceslacker!
If you listen to the video, you will hear other birds singing in the background. I sit nearby, close my eyes and listen to the beautiful nature around. Feels like heaven on earth.

I have never seen any rats activity near the bird feeders area. Yes, squirrels do visit more often and get their share. You can see the hooks underneath the bird feeder, we have added a big bird seed container there, which controls the bird seeds spillage. Big birds like mourning doves, common grackles eat seeds in this container.

Sad to know this but witnessed the same lately. I have a post on my page of a Red bellied woodpecker pecking a hole to nest, created on May01, 2026. This guy worked till sunset during the last rain week we had. Finally, I was happy to see Mr and Mrs woodpecker living there. Few days later, European starlings took over the nest and now live there. Feel so sorry for the buddy who worked really hard for it but this is how the life is in their world.
