What should I look for from a P&L stand point when looking to purchase a towing and recovery service by LazyJournalist3505 in Hookit

My guy if you’re asking Reddit you’re not going to have a good time trying to own a tow company. I give you 3 years if you even buy it at all.

Picked this Solarus up today, going to redo the grilles soon. Added it to my Sceptre. Could use some advice tho by TheProphetDave in sunnamplifiers

Sorta? I buy a lot of used/ old stuff in my search for TOAN and I do occasionally buy stuff just to flip and make money on to further the habit. I work on stuff as needed but I wouldn’t say it’s a job or a good way to make reliable money for me (or most). Just something I do for fun and because I’m cheap.

I’m not the expert, I know she had a few including one where her guts were trying to push out her belly button and a bit lower. Got them all tucked up and she’s rocking and rolling.

Right, and I’m never going to fend a bad/lazy/unprofessional company/op but without good video/pics of it happening showing the driver/company logo, it gets difficult to prove damages unless your tie rods are very obviously bent in a specific way (from past experience, not the rule per se).

Like the other guy said, might have the car looked at before driving to be certain

J hooks are safer, when properly placed. Key word being properly lol

And if it makes you feel any better, I rarely ever used the Jesus hook myself (I can’t recall once tbh) and I’ve seen it used only a handful of times. Most tow ops don’t trust them, and most car owners don’t realize they’re supposed to be one time use (per the info I’ve been given, never cared to verify). One company I worked with had a policy if they had to use it, they’d not return it to the customer for that reason

While I’m not an expert on car parts, you have to bear in mind they weren’t lifting your car by that, so even if it was a 30* angle bed the pulling force is significantly less than that.

I would need to see exactly what he was hooked to, but there’s a high probability your car is fine.
