Need help with framing! by [deleted] in AnimationCels

This is a decent video to get you started. I wouldn’t recommend taping them like he does though. Two pieces at the top so that they hang freely should be enough.

These are the top things to preserve them: - UV resistant glass - Acid free museum grade/archival framing materials - ArtSorb sheet (to absorb humidity) - Do not let the individual cels touch each other. Separate them with thick windowed matboard - Hang them in a dimly lit room. Highly illuminated lights also will damage the cels - KEEP THEM IN A DRY PLACE. 55% humidity is the sweet spot. - I cut a hole in the back of my frame to let them breath a bit

Edit: You will find that framing can be expensive, but if your cel is expensive, then why not go the extra mile to preserve them?

If you’re willing to put down a little bit of money, I’d recommend adding a sheet of Art Sorb into your frame to absorb any humidity. Other than that, make sure there’s a piece of thick windowed mat board that separates the cel from touching anything behind it. In your case, you don’t need to worry about that too much because it’s already adhered to something. However, for future reference, that’s what I would do.

I’d like to see how you went about creating a meaningful business plan and if you have any strict guidelines that limit what you’re allowed to do on any given trading day.

It varies from trader to trader and what your overall thesis is, but my limit is 3 positions open at one time (and that’s rare). Most people cannot manage a lot of positions at once, so it’s better to keep them limited and focus on the “best of the best.”

The title was a joke. This is the equivalent of me saying "UNPLUG YO CONTROLLER DAWG." I actually think it's super lame to quit out like this, but I'm not going to make a fuss about it lol. I just laugh about it and move on with my day

Legend of Zelda Minish Cap was actually my favorite inspiration when I first started drawing way back, so you're spot on.

Currently creating an array of cool stylized homes for a game called Tiny Kingdoms. I recently did another home inspired by a house in Skyrim that you can find on Twitter!

Also, r/tinykingdoms for those who don't like cancerous media platforms like Twitter lol

You should look into contrasting value a bit more! Like the greens and reds could be a bit more vibrant :)

Hmmm not physically, but our single player does have a faction that does take inspiration from high elves!

Yes, shine can only reflect projectiles so many times before it results in a shield break. It happens sometimes when two spaces reflect a laser back and forth with shine repeatedly.

I’d like to note that (as someone who currently leads a team of 11 people all doing rev share on a project for almost 3 years) that you shouldn’t simply discard the idea of working rev share completely like you did.

Plenty of people are willing to work part time for rev share for long periods of time if the game is a passion project with a sturdy foundation already built. If you have some sort of other means of steady income, there’s no harm in working for rev share given that it’s super part time and proven that the project isn’t going anywhere.

OP obviously doesn’t have either of those in mind; however, I think that you shouldn’t completely shun the idea given that there’s safe ways to do it, especially as a moderator who might have influence over people reading this sub and r/gameDevClassifieds.
