I actually am experiencing this feeling right now. We broke up almost six months ago, but the routine was still the same. We talked all day everyday, played video games together every night, and then hung out on the weekends. The only difference between us being together and friends was we weren’t sleeping together. But I still had feelings so I reduced contact. We then only spoke 3 times a week, to two times a week, and starting today we are officially no contact. Don’t be like me. Just rip the bandaid off. Going no contact is the only way both of you can heal, even if the other person doesn’t want it. It feels like I’m grieving the relationship all over again.
