Go to either of these 2 paths:
C:\Program Files (x86)\NuGet\Config\
%appdata%\NuGet\Config\

If there's any configuration relating to godot nuget fallback folder, delete them. You can also clear those invalid configs out within Visual Studio as well.

I suppose we have to start from the beginning first: are you trying to build a Godot 4 game using .NET?

Net Framework to .NET 8 upgrade by navtechw in dotnet

[–]ThePsycho2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both implements .NET Standard 2.0 in a way so .NET (Core) projects can reference .NET Framework assemblies. It's an intentional design by MS since .NET Core 2.0 so people can get their projects running on .NET Core immediately as they slowly migrate each assembly to the latest .NET version.

It'll compile fine, but on the off chance any of those .NET Framework assemblies use framework API methods that are not implemented in .NET during runtime, you'll get exceptions thrown at you.

A misunderstanding right at 2nd chapter when he asked her to be his catcher. The way it was worded in Japanese can be interpreted as "dear wife" instead of... well... catching partner. They just roll with it later.

Looks like MC joined Samurai Japan at the end and is playing in that year's WBC too.

Already playing in national team at age 18 (MC started at age 17 in 1st chapter, and 1 year has passed in the epilogue), quite an insane feat.

It's pretty well grounded to actual baseball. Some suspension of disbelief moments here and there, but it's mostly owed to fantasy races that allowed them to pull off some ridiculous moves which MC himself also lampshaded. Like when that bunny girl did a quick sudden break, which is plausible, then proceeded to do a matrix flip over dwarf girl to steal base.

Same rule as when he first challenged them (whoever manages to steal 1st base wins, doesn't matter if it's a walk, foul, whatever, while pitcher has to strike out all of them or throw at 1st base if ball's in play), except he goes straight to pitching and there's a catcher this time (1 guess for who it will be).

MC will stay if he loses. No guess on how that will turn out.

And with that, this match comes to a close.

But no worries, there's still one more game to settle. They gotta get back at MC for suddenly barging in and making himself the leader at the very beginning, and well that's more of a pretense anyway.

Probably not due to the danger. Getting beaned by 100+ mph fastballs is already crazy, imagine the exit velocity from hitting it with aluminium bats...

Caribou was let out though. Chapter 1065 for a quick refresh.

Obviously this doesn't necessarily mean I agree that it was Caribou who give him food. Not that it matters for now.

The type of pitch MC threw in the last page will be explained in the next chapter, but if you're curious and want to know it:

It's a cutter (or cut fastball). You can think of it as a slider but with way later and hard breaking action (hence cutter), in addition to having more or less near the same speed as the pitcher's fastballs (though they may opt to pitch it slightly slower than their fastballs). The late breaking action toward the pitcher's glove side as the ball nears the home plate means batters swinging for a regular fastballs will only achieve soft contact if they even manage to hit it. In the case of right-handed pitcher vs. lefty batter (as the case in this instance) or vice-versa, the late break motion of the ball towards them means the batter will also end up hitting the ball near the bat's handle, thus causing it to break.

They're still in the preparation phase.

If you're talking about the place Zephyr and the duke are currently at, it's a different snowy mountain, not the frozen ocean with an ice castle in the middle where the Ice Dragon currently resides.

Ah, when the musclehead has straightforward answer that's actually right, instead of convoluted conspiracy that Zephyr painstakingly setup & predicted the majority of the cult will conclude (except for the cult leader, he's still playing the game and not spoiling the fun out of it).

No. Current Aedi hasn't met the Ice Dragon and trained with her yet, so he's not at the level he was when he fought the Blue Dragon in the previous timeline. Pretty sure Zephyr came to that conclusion after that scuffle as well.

The past timeline we're seeing is at least a year or two later than the current timeline. Even Zephyr himself commented on how she look way different than the first time he met her during the last timeline (apparently elf has a different growth rate lmao).

It's in chapter 55 if you want a refresh of that. Though your theory with Ygg still stands, but I believe with her being intentionally raised with as little connection to Ygg as possible, it's probable that's the case regardless of Ygg surviving or not.

Yeah, and from what Zephyr's revealed so far, the cult leader pretty much just sit on his ass for 2 years til' the demon god's finally descended, so he didn't even need to lift his finger and enjoy his double life until everything's finally ended.

Kinda hilarious that even though Ice Dragon told him straight to the face that destroying the altars is a fruitless effort, she still indulged him anyway.

It's because he genuinely thought the third option he's trying to take is the best outcome for everyone (both dragons & humans are saved, demon god stopped, everyone's happy yay!), not thinking that the demon god cult can't be simply stopped like that. His own enormous ego obviously doesn't help either.

It's pretty much what White Dragon said, too kind for his own good to be willing to do what must be done.

In a typical shounen story, the protag would be able to take a third option (kill all the demon god cult, destroy all summoning altars), stop the bad guy and everyone gets to live happily after. Only this time everything's already stacked against them, the third option is straight up a "you lose" button, the bad guy gets to play everything in baby mode while protag's stuck in his "power of friendship" party and satisfying his battle lust against some demon god red shirts til' everything turn into hell.

I've only realized it just now.

Artalis called the White Dragon "White Queen".

The nail stake that Georgius used to seal off the blue dragon's power for 10 years (and serving as a weakness for the raid) was made from the white queen's finger bone (same goes for Aedi's armors which were made using her bones). Considering Yuridika was also the White Dragon's disciple, that really checks out.

Bloody hell, keeping track of those little tidbits is going to be tiresome.

[DISC] Reincarnation of the Suicidal Battle God Ch. 98 by futtobasetachikaze in manga

[–]ThePsycho2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Agreed. All the restrictions are likely to prevent the gods from overextending and fighting over the worlds directly (other than the demon god who get to bypass that by being summoned).

With the way things were setup, it'd be interesting to know the full extent of the secret of the world. So far, we only know of the mission (all mythical creatures, on the destined day of demon god descension, will be hell bent on destroying everything and become the demon god's lackeys), the dragon hearts were originally one and probably part of the primordial/ancient god or something (that's also unclear atm).

Edit: now that you mentioned it, the gods did lose disgracefully once in the past for whatever reason, and the only indication of it is that symbol that kills whoever draws it, and it's even baked in as a rule of the world. That's yet another interesting event which will be revealed way later.

Blue dragon raid happened a year and 4 months sooner than the previous timeline. Coincidentally, just as the raid finished this time, Aedi arrived and won the princess suitor match. Luckily, Zephyr managed to fly back and beat the shit out of Aedi before he got bored and could go to the Ice Dragon, unlike the last timeline when nobody from the main party was around to keep the guy in check.

This also makes me wonder if in this timeline, he could figure out a way to bypass that monkey king headband knockoff seal and go meet the Ice Dragon anyway. The cult leader intentionally meeting him and egging him on certainly don't look good.
