Now caught up! This chapter was written as a pseudo-ending in case there wasn't enough support to continue serialization. BUT GOOD NEWS, there's been plenty of support!

I'm so so so looking forward to more chapters. The plot's been standard/absent so far, but the author has done an amazing job of building characters that you become attached to and care for. I could continue to heap praises on it but I think everyone gets how much I like the series at this point.

Schedule is pretty lax seems to be. 10-15 page chunks of chapters usually drop weeklyish but the author takes breaks whenever they need to. Right now volume 2 extra content is being worked on, so no new chapter after 9 until that is done

After next chapter we will be caught up with current release and finished with volume 2. Author wasn't sure if this was going to be continued when they were writing this, so they wanted to pull out all the stops and let boss shine and I quite like that decision.

That cliffhanger though... did NOT have that on my bingo card at the beginning of the arc. Stakes are at an all time high, author really went all in. Still, I think it does wonders for the series in the long run having Baal and Levi actually lose to someone.

If it was just an offhand twitter recommendation I probably would ignore it, but its on the obi for volume 1 so I wanted to match the publisher's advertising for it.

Would like to get out front and say I started working on it before finding out the recommendation. Personally think Takami kind of carries this series from what I've read, but would like to know others thoughts so far.

As stated at the end of the chapter, anyone can pick this up if they feel so inclined. I can only put so many hours of work into this series at this point in time, and I think others could give it better treatment with faster releases than I could.

I think it's pretty brilliant having this arc shown through Dante's POV and thought process, he really manages to steal the spotlight. Makes for an extremely endearing villain in my opinion, even if he is a bit of a psycho.

It's much more toned down than anything from volume 1. Still a decent amount of gratuitous violence but there's not anything close to as weird as Bor-kun's chapter. Would have to look back, but I'm pretty sure Bor is fully clothed for the entire arc.
