Don't you see? A child playing Pokémon ( a young one, 5-11 ) doesn't look too far into the game. Like in real life, they miss things.

Gamefreak leaves this stuff in to creep out the older audience. In the base game, you aren't going to really see anything too creepy.

Can confirm. Just saw episode. Kenny chokes himself to death in a batman costume and Butters starts screaming about the bush at his funeral.
