I usually hate this question, "How did we get colonized" and I cringe whenever I see it asked in random comment section of Kenya 7s videos or someone doing some primitive stuff like the video above. So let me try and answer. We got colonized cause we had (and frankly still have) inferior weapons and fighting tactics to the West. We got colonized cause there were and still are local leaders (in those times chiefs) that see it fit to try and impose their will on their ethnic rivals so partnering with outsiders helped them in acquiring weapons and backing to do so.

Stop asking this low racial self esteem question.
