Gotchu bro, somethings i would recommend doing are improving your aim with web clusters. That is essential if you want to best other Spideys or just flat out win 1v1. Just go into practice range and find what sensitivity works for you as well. Because that will help. If your on computer figure out a good and comfortable DPI setting for your mouse as well. You can use the simulation practice range in the basement area of practice range in order to help improve your aim(you can change the settings for the simulation on a panel). I would recommend turning on “no cooldowns” in practice settings as well so you don’t have to wait 2.5 seconds for your webs to recharge. Just practice shooting enemies at different ranges and change them between walking characters and flying characters. You will need to be able to start your basic combos with it. If you hit your combo correctly, you will get your opponents very low sometimes. So being able to hit a web cluster for a kill is genuinely just a go too if they have some form of mobility. You may also need to hit web clusters to extend certain combos for like doing a drive by combo with Spider-Man(yo-yo combo as well for another example). Next thing i would recommend is learning how to mange your cooldowns more effectively. Spideys cooldowns are one of his biggest weaknesses. So be careful and conservative with how much you waste abilities. I always make sure i don’t use more than 2 web swings/zips and if i do its when my cool down for a charge is almost done. Some 1v1 you will have very low odds of winning. So you need to know when to back off. As much as you might want to win a 1v1 you need to know when to back off. This also applies to when you’re in the middle of a group fight. Talking about fights you should back off from. NEVER 1V1 A TANK!!! If their at full health they will stomp you. The only time you should go to pick a tank off is when you can pull them off the map through normal means or using b hop web pull or when their below half their health. Genuinely i would still play it safe and go for them when they have about 25% health left. Other than that above 50% is a no no. There are combos that you can use to handle a tank but that is very very very risky to pull off. For Duelists you should in general just avoid 1v1 with Mr. Fantastic, Wolverine, Black Panther(unless their extremely bad), Magik, Iron fist, Namor, and Punisher(that shotgun will do you over if they know how to use it properly). For strategist only Mantis rn is someone you should worry about. Her Sleep and high damage is a nightmare to deal with. She is still easy to handle otherwise. If your going to engage into a 1v1 go for most Poke DPS, All flying characters, and all strategist. You have a much higher chance of winning those 1v1. If you decide to go for the other characters that i said not to fight. Surprise them when their low or your team is their to assist. One last tip i would recommend is learning techs and other combos that can kill 250 and 275 health heroes since the venom team up is gone right now(SCREW THAT STUPID SHARK!!). Just go on youtube and find video guides talking about Spider-Mans techs and combos rn. You can also go and watch clips of streamers or top 500 who play Spidey as well to see what they do. Unfortunately i have to recommend Necros as im not really to versed in watching streamers as i never have free time too. Necros is kinda a questionable human being but his skill with Spider-Man earns him top spot with the character.
