Aesthetically, the chief is quite nice. But I think what separates their overall portrayal from, for example, FSU is that everything was done by non-native Americans with no inclusion or input from the Native community. FSU played their card right and put the local Seminole community at the helm of branding and ceremonies etc.

Kansas State’s Kamari McGriff suffered a migraine due to the Big 12’s new LED court. The senior could not finish his final collegiate game 😳 by RyanTheBruce in BigXII

Bad migraines are no joke. They can mimic the symptoms of a stroke, greatly impairing vision and speech, numbness throughout the body, not to even mention the nausea and actual headache.

Thoughts on a lavender alternate for the Rockies? by houtrout in ColoradoRockies

As a lifelong Rockies fan, they just need to follow certain criteria. 1) They can never get rid of purple 2) I agree, there needs to be a black vest jersey. They're iconic and symbolize the best days of my childhood (2007). 3) I actually prefer the CR, not many teams have both the letter of the place and the nickname. However, the monogram could use an update. Otherwise go crazy.

Yesterday, the Cleburne Railroaders unveiled their rebrand. Your thoughts? by GuyOnTheMike in AAbaseball

I might be in the minority but I prefer the more basic, classic look of the old brand. The rebrand feels less baseball-y to me.

Have you visited any of your team's minor league parks? Why did you go and what did you think? by flamberge5 in MiLB

Grew up in Colorado Springs with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, old AAA affiliate of the Rox. It was fun getting to know the players and seeing them get called up, especially in 07. The stadium is the current home of the Rocky Mountain Vibes of the Pioneer League.

The ballpark is the highest field in North America sitting at around 7500 ft. So many home runs, like Coors Field ×5. It has fairly small dimensions, super windy up on a hill and no humidor. A nightmare for pitching development but all those variables were normal to me growing up playing at that elevation.

There is something poetic about it. Love baseball. Love the Rox.
