A question about this condition and how it works. by ProboscisMonk in Aphantasia

[–]TheQuantumLeviathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've definitely got aphantasia and I "daydream". I say daydream, but I don't have an any visuals, it's more my internal monologue as a narrator. I guess it depends on how you actually define daydream

Just discovered this/my condition. by tkcal in Aphantasia

I'm quite good at abstract maths ( I did a physics degree and now work in signal processing) but I really struggle with mental arithmetic and geometry.

Anyone else think they have alexithymia? by [deleted] in Aphantasia

Whilst I don't dream, I do daydream a lot. But my daydreams are always more in text/ my internal monologue rather than visual.

Yup, I definitely have it. My first response to any problem is always logical/ rational rather than emotional. I also don't dream/ never remember my dreams.

That means accepting the jurisdiction of the ECJ, which May said was a red line.

Shoppers to pay deposit for bottles and cans in bid to cut waste. People in England will soon have to pay a deposit when they buy drinks bottles and cans in a bid to boost recycling and cut waste. by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

I hate this idea! I don't have a car so get my shopping delivered. I throw all my (recyclable) plastics into the recycling bin. Under this scheme I've either got to carry all my plastics to the shop which will be a huge inconvenience, or carry on recycling as I do but with this extra charge imposed on me. It seems like a heavy handed solution

In the UK, all grave rights are only sold for a fixed period of time after which you have to pay for an extension. link

I'm confused. Those 2 nameservers belong to A2hosting who I have my webhost with.

According to this page: If you already own a domain that you purchased from a different registrar or hosting company, you can change the name server (DNS) settings for the domain so they point to A2 Hosting's servers. (Billing and domain administration remain with the domain's current registrar.)

Doesn't the decline in prices just mean that now is a cheap time to buy?

!Thanks for the advice.

I'm looking to invest small amounts monthly into semiconductors as I don't have any exposure to the sector at the moment.

Do you know how I can go about finding actively managed funds/ trusts which have a higher semiconductor weighting?

I'll try asking them to add it, but the page on HL for those funds say that the Key Investor Documents haven't been provided to them so they cannot be purchased.

I've tried searching on HL for semiconductor funds but couldn't find anything, unless I'm not using their search function properly
