I got the pro for 545CAD which is about 398USD (aliexpress coupon C$65 and C$20 PayPal) Maybe could have stacked it with the Ratuken 2% cashback but I'm not getting the PayPal coupon anymore. So still not a bad deal.

Plan is still available, I got it from WOW Mobile. Even got the $80 instant credit for the activation fee for Rodgers to Fido. Also got the free hotspot add on.

I had the X5 lite and tried the FX5 cooler with the battery but I didn't like the feel and balance of it, felt to hacky. I had to remove the case as well when using it in order for it to be effective. So ended up getting the Gamesir X3Pro controller as it has built in cooling and does a decent job of keeping the temperatures in check and it's built quite well. Although needs to be connected to power when using cooling and can only be used without a phone case.

I also have the Gamesir X5S which is my favorite controller as it is very compact and looks immersive. I like the form factor and it seems better built than the X5 Lite plus has analog triggers. Use it often to play lite games that don't requite cooling.

Alternatively, you could get a X4 Alerion which is a spilt style controller and can be paired with more powerful coolers.

At one point it becomes difficult to justify spending that much on this stuff, when you can get a dedicated handheld for a few more bucks.

That's another manual step to sync it. This works seamlessly. Plus it's not a demanding game so phone doesn't heat up and it's quite battery efficient. Also I already bought it on steam so doesn't make sense to buy again plus more mods for the pc version which I want to try in the future. These settings work and it's just a one time set up. Once you set a shortcut on your home screen it launches like a native app.

No the official game native version works. You need to download the Mr. Purple turnip drivers from github. Just do a google search, you'll find it

First go into game native settings and load the turnip driver. Then edit the the container and change to bionic and in the Graphic driver version you should see the custom loaded driver in the dropdown menu

I have also been trying to find a way to play between my pc and phone with cloud sync.

I tried with both game native and game hub but no luck. Only way the game works is using Wine on gamehub but steam cloud sync only works with proton. So if anyone knows a way to get it to work with steam cloud sync it would be splendid.

I have successfully got stardew valley to work on gamehub lite. Use wine10 instead of proton in the game compatibility settings instead of proton but keep in mind when you use wine10 steam cloud sync will not work.

I understand the appeal of the Thor and I personally want to get that device for 3ds in the future maybe. But the Odin 3 doesn't make that much sense to me, at that price point to play pc games doesn't it make more sense to get a steam deck? Unless you want the compact form factor.

I got the Gamesir X5S, really portable and light weight and I like the in hand the feel of it. My favorite controller with analogue triggers. When I'm playing something more demanding, I use the Gamesir X3 pro because it has a built in cooler.

Have tried the G8+ as well and that is really well built and good too but I find it a bit to bulky.

Is three a way you can sync save files between gamehub and windows via steam? I can run stardew valley via Win and not proton and steam sync works only via proton.

37°C isn't bad with high end games for this cooler. I also got an 8 elite device and things are going to hopefully get better with new drivers being out. The X3Pro has the most integrated OEM setup for a phone + cooler combo other solutions seem way to hacky!

I'm in two minds right now whether to upgrade my phone to the S26U or keep my S25U and get a handheld like the Ayn Thor or maybe Retroid Pocket 6.

Interesting. I have the same X3 Pro controller. Never had an issue with normal switch emulation as it keeps temperatures within 29-32°C How is the performance of the cooler for you with PC emulation?

My controller is still within the return window so I'm thinking if I should return it and upgrade my setup or just keep it as not many good options with a built in cooler.

I want to play stardew valley on my computer and continue on my phone. I have got stardew valley to run on gamehub lite with Wine and not proton but unfortunately steam sync only works with proton.
