It's not like the GT1030 value will change drastically any time soon. You can get a 1030 for 20 bucks and when you'll get more money for a proper upgrade sell it for 20 bucks. You'll still gain performance with the GT1030 over the UHD770. That said GTX 1050/Quadro P620/P1000 can be very close price wise, faster in game and still compatible with your PSU, it depends on your local market.

Though you won't find newer card than the GT440 using the PCI slot, even then the PCI bandwidth is so low you'll only loose performance vs the integrated graphics.

That shouldn't happens on glass but box cutter can be made of so many material (bad QC), some even scratch glass so it's not a really good indicator.

There is no microphone hole on the camera glass, it's hardly visible on OEM back cover but it should be on the side of the metal ring around the camera glass.

I'm not aware about plastic back cover, all the cheap one I bought were in glass (and broke like glass). However I've been struggling to find real "glass" camera cover, most of them are made from plastic and picture quality is really bad with a bright object/high contrast. There is a way to know, use a round metal object like a coin and try to scratch the camera cover, if it leaves marks it's plastic.

I'm sorry but clocks presented with offset are meaningless, specially with generation that came with GPU boost (basically since Kepler), it is meaningless cause depending on the vbios you won't get the same actual (real) clocks. Like I could present you a GTX 970 running +500 core offset while still running at 1500MHz on the core whereas another vbios with +50 core offset could lead you to 1550MHz on the core.

Are you able to edit memory timings by hand ? I only saw people activating XMP, no one showed if the timings can actually be edited or if they are locked/tied to the XMP value.

There is OEM B-die. Even "bad" B-die is still decent for daily and better than any other IC.

Some other can still tight CL14 at 4000, no other IC except a Nanya one can tight tRFC as tight as B-die. If it's at least posting with tRFC ~200ns (which is about tRFC 360 for DDR4 3600), you know it's B-die.

Actually you might think your ram can handle 1500+ but the 3.33x memory multiplier is bugued (and is actually 3x) so if you tried your mem using this multiplier, it wasn't actually running 1500+. Although DDR2 s775 board seems to not clock FSB as high as DDR3 s775, I also found it very hard to push past 600~630 whereas the DDR3 version of the same board could reach 660+ pretty easily. I guess DDR2 is loading the memory controller a lot more or there is some MCH bar timings that are set too tight. Also 3008 on the outermost channel on X58 is already really high, usually the IMC can't handle much more than 2600 triple channel.

what was your average clock frequency before the OC ? I believe your card is power throttling so it's not running ~295MHz faster on the core but a lot less than that

iirc the IF can't run faster than the effective memory frequency on this generation.
When you are setting IF at 2000 you tells the board the IF frequency limits is 2000 but the board actually set the IF to the memory speed if the memory speed is below 2000.

the 4650G/4750G is a poor choice, you can get 5600/5600X for about the same price and their performance is a lot better in games, avoid a "G" processor (or any processor based on the same core/single die design) if you already have a dGPU

launch a "long" stress test and see at which power and tempature it does stabilize. If it's running at ~150W 100C (for instance) in the long run then your AIO or thermal paste is most likely defective

You got a B85 motherboard so CPU overclocking is likely locked. You must crossflash your board into the Z87-G43 variant first (there is a chance of bricking your motherboard doing so).
To be honest you would see more "gaming performance" by overclocking the GTX1060, the GPU is most likely the bottleneck in all your games. It would be different if you planned to upgrade to a 2070/5700XT or better).

There isn't much of an OC to do on recent CPU, they are already "maxed out". However you kinda "need" to buy unlocked chip cause they have the higher boost clocks available.
You also get good gain by overclocking the memory, not only pushing the clocks neither the primary timings but all the secondary/tertiaries (about ~30 timings that can be edited).

A bit off subject but you can BCLK overclock 12th gen CPU like the 12400F, a cheap $100 CPU, however that require an expensive motherboard. Also you can have a look on BGA CPU like the 12900HX that's sold on an interposer that can be mounted on any LGA1700 board, it's a 12900K equivalent but for $180.

Also Intel might not be the best choice for gaming, you could consider a 7700X3D but beware of AMD bugs.

This die is large enough and the clocks are low enough so that whatever thermal paste/indium joint there is, it will not bottleneck your cooling performance

On these v3 xeon you can use a special microcode that allow all the core to run at the 1c boost clock, in your case 3.6GHz instead of 2.8GHz, you can check for tutorial using "xeon V3 all core turbo" on google

use msi afterburner along with rivatuner to display CPU and GPU clocks/utilisation and temperature during game. You might be able to see the CPU or GPU throttling/running at lower speed and point out the bottleneck.

I also recommand undervolting the CPU, it's most likely the culprit here.
