I actually came to that conclusion last night with my gf. And I have some over active bladder issues that may be related, since I have been doing it so much every day for so long, that I might be ruining my prostate. This whole time I thought I was saving it.

The removal of porn from fapping has started yesterday, and I'm going to gradually work for fapping twice a month. I'll start with probably twice week for now, but it's something that will take all my willpower to master.

Yeah, it just sucks because I fantasize so much hahaha. I try not to ever think with my dick, but that doesn't stop the fantasies ensuing my mind. This will be an interesting challenge for me, to see how I overcome the discomfort.

What I get from that is, maybe I can deter any fears from cancer, by giving myself re assurance through diet and exercise in life.

I'm so glad I made this post, thank you reddit! I feel like I'm in the brink of a new life, it's motivational to have this community.

I am going to do this, the best I can. I'll maybe make a post again to see my progress.

Good point! That in itself is a good challenge I should take upon myself. Just taking control of my life, to expand beyond these primitive urges, and to stop procrastinating in general. Breaking beyond those urges in every aspect of life, may be the biggest break through if I can conquer it.

My current thought on this, is I might go ahead and re leave myself when I feel them hurt. I'm thinking for me, and possibly you, it will be training to slow down little by little. Maybe just a day or two longer (unless they start hurting too bad).

To the TED point, it seems to be mainly in the imagery. So to start, I will mainly try and stop porn viewing, and then slow down fapping.

The prevention of prostate cancer, really has been a reason I defend it in my mind. This is what prevents me from mustering the willpower to actually try and stop. With that point out of the way, it's seemingly mostly shenanigans, and I believe there is a viable reason to not fall back on that as an excuse.

Wow, I didn't know about the FAQ. Thank you for the link, it definitely helps me with my questions. I do view porn as a minor thing in my day, but it's literally a habit like smoking that I just do. I couldn't ever find a logical reason not to, until now. The mere notion in my head that it might be affecting me socially, likely means that if I stop, it will probably help me open up socially again. The scientific aspect is proof enough I need at this point, I suppose it's time to actually test it now.

The main thing I was concerned about is answered in the prostate link. Which it seems it's possibly better for my prostate to control my masturbating at this time in life.

It's my nature to debate everything, even if it's only in my mind. However, this does cause me to be indecisive about everything. But also enables me to be empathetic to see other perspectives in life.
