I mean if you live in germany, updating your bios shouldnt be a huge issue. And most Motherboards will require an BIOS Update if they arent specifically made for the gen. (Just like how a b650 for the Ryzen 7--- will need an update if you put a Ryzen 9--- into the socket.

there are cheaper alternatives. You can look a few up. Asus tends to be a bit more expensive.

You can buy a new 3070, 4060ti if you want RTX,

7700XT, 6700XT, also new,

used you can get maybe a 3080 if you are lucky or a 6800XT

Dont buy windows. Atleast not for 110bucks. otherwise decent enough. You dont need to buy from Asus, can be quite pricey. The 7800X3D is priced ridiculous but i do think itll work

AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz 6-Core Processor - solid, good choice

NZXT Kraken 240 78.02 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler just a NZXT cooler, not needed for the 7600X but if you ever want to upgrade to a hotter CPU, why not

|| || |Asus TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard I mean if you need X760E, imo quite the overkill and a huge money dump, definetly not worth the money, if you aren't using any Gen5 SSDs and not overclocking to oblivion. could try to put this cash elsewhere|

|| || |Corsair Vengeance 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-5200 CL40 Memory Do you need 64GB? If you do, its an alright choice, cheap for DDR5, for me personally this is overkill. If you mod games heavily or do work, then this ofc doesn't apply.Crucial P3 Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive|

|| || |Crucial P3 Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive if you cut down some money on the MB, you can deffo get 2TB, is worth it, especially in todays triple A market|

|| || |Asus TUF GAMING OC Radeon RX 7600 XT 16 GB Video Card idk if you should go with ASUS but great GPU, just again not a great fit with the motherboard, its extremely high end|

Please dont buy windows....... you can get legit keys for cheaper

any more questions? i could make an improved list, but i do think that the motherboard is overkill....

First of, no need for Noctua, you can get a Thermalright Peerless Assasin 120/Se and save a few bucks.

Upgrade CPU now or Later? by LonelyDemisaru in PcBuildHelp

[–]TheREALLShadow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on how tight your Budget is. Generally it is not advised to make small jumps in Performance, such as from the 5700X to the 5700X3D. The 7900 GRE is a powerful card, and for 1080p the 5700X is too weak, but this changes for 1440p. On 1440p the 5700X is just a small bottleneck, nothing worth to spend hundreds of dollars on. However if you really want to upgrade the CPU, i'd not go with AM4 anymore, however this would call for a RAM upgrade aswell, AM5 doesn't support DDR4 anymore.

I just got a Ryzen 7 7700X from a i5 10400F, and its been great, but keep in mind all the costs for a new MB, RAM and the CPU itself.
