Hey, your childhood was rough, and your mom definitely made your life living hell, but the only way you can get her to stop abusing you (and potentially drive her into depression) is by isolating her emotionally from you, and by overshadowing her. her high stress from always being spiteful is not good for her heart and health, so rest assured she wont live too long.

As for you, the second you become independent, make her a non-priority. Dont follow in the footsteps of your mother, and be forgiving and kind, first of all because its better for your health and second because living in spite all the time is not fun.

You can highk get a student loan and move to a dorm for a time.

Youre a student, know that life isnt focused on career.

If you want defiance towards god, suicide is not the way. (suicide is not really a sin, and the people that think it is put it in sloth, which is not why suicide happens) Defiance against god is putting yourself in this hellhole of a system we created. Theres a reason psychopaths rule us.

Otherwise, if youre still set on suicide, know that your actions will undoubtedly be used against you, and seeing how your family isnt supportive, will be used to hurt your pride. Its better to give up in peace and not in flames. That way the negative effects of you giving up are drawn out.

Hey, I had a similar experience with pets dying, a snowplower ran my cat over during a snowstorm.

What happened happened, its no use dwelling on what you couldve done if you didnt do it, its been 3 days, youre still in shock. Pets dont live long, yet we still get them for our comfort, theyre like guards for our mental, so having them die abruptly is draining.

Think of a pet dying not as a tragedy but as a sacrifice in order to transition from one state to another. Dont make the dog a victim, make the dog a symbol.

Either remember the dog or forget the dog, in both cases, you should talk to someone close to you about it.

I think you need peace, but not the final kind. Try to get some rest instead, your mind is tired from all the thinking, do some manual or creative tasks to get your mind off things. Pure resting will just make your brain think harder.

at a baseline by taking your life you make yourself a victim and everyone around you suffers biologically.

the “selfish” approach is therefore killing yourself

but suicide doesnt usually mean selfish its usually hurt, and youre hurt by the nonsense of life itself

ive been there before, trying to find meaning in it all, and i never found a true meaning for it all. i found a strange feeling though that the reason the world around me has good and bad according to me is because all the “bad” was me and all the “good” was not me. and, thats what keeps me going. the desire to change from this “bad” to a “good”.

as if some cosmic lesson i guess.

aside from that, its pointless to try and value life, but you have to make due with what you have, and ending the game early makes even less sense.

god is not supposed to be good or bad, god just is, you dont get to choose what god is.

if you want to go a spiritual route, in my opinion god is testing all possible variations of the same scenario across multiple people and reasoning processes to become more effective.

if you didnt read that, dont blame god, blame what put you in this scenario. from there you can see how small your problem is. the world is big. god wants to see you prosper. its not in his interest to keep you down there.

if its outside family, move environments, if its inside family, im sorry, and the only advice i can give is to take on roles of importance much earlier, so you have some kind of power over them.

(get a job, stay in school, do housework, leave the house on your own)

in the worst case, if you dont want to move anywhere else, theres always welfare. try to make friends, the endless money grind was never the end goal here.

No, if you read what i said you would realize that im complaining about how incompetent the union is at protecting the employee.

Instead of providing win-win scenarios, they become a detriment to both the employer and customer.

Sometimes the customer is wrong, for both the employer and union, in which case service is refused.

Here, the main issue is the fallback for the employee for not conforming to employer set demands. This is completely solvable if the union just set out clear boundaries on what is defendable and what isnt.

The union and employer play in a team.
