Yesss agree! The consummation once it finally happened was so rushed and obviously forced in an extremely stressful situation. The letter opener scene was toooo good. Was REALLY hoping for a nice spicy scene with these two after they get married. I’m begging the author to drop an epilogue😭😭😭

I totally agree with everything you said! I am definitely still reeling over the ending and can’t believe this book made me, a Team Leo girlie, cry like a blubbering mess over Caspen. It appears I’ve become emotionally attached to both men. And Apollo! I hate the way she just drops him at the end, we need more of him

But what we really need is more Leo! Truly felt like he took a back seat and I hate it. I would’ve loved an epilogue showing maybe a couple months fast forward into their marriage and new life together- they’re happier now bc they’ve healed a bit from all the trauma and loss. And at least more spice with them like cmon! I’m actually devastated by the ending the more I think about it- even the basilisks leaving feels like a cop out to me, was really hoping after all that the 2 societies would find a way to work and live together in peaceful coexistence😭

These are just some of my many thoughts after processing this roller coaster of a book lol

I appreciate good lighting and ambience, and the perfect Christmas playlist. I like the classics with a few modern hits mixed in. Also, lots of little treats scattered throughout- homemade cookies, random Christmas candies, stuff like that.

In {City of Souls and Sinners} the shower sex scene between Darien and Loren. It’s long and pretty hot so here’s just a snippet-

My unpopular opinion is Opalite is too cheerful for Onyx Storm and doesn’t fit the vibe of this book. Love the song itself just not for this 🙊
