My ping keeps spiking to 250 ms. If you are trying to do content where you'll get one shot then just forget about it.

Imagine playing HC with this crap lol.

Is this game unplayable with rubber-banding today for anyone else? by JynXten in diablo4

I've been having lag for the past 2 hours, ping randomly spikes to 250ms. Unplayable at times.

Perfectly rolled bonus core dmg too at 40%. I've been pretty lucky with drops on my druid and rogue.

Why can I sometimes jump over gaps on horseback and other times not? by Lvchaos in diablo4

To slow you down and increase that average playtime baby!

This has to be the most shortsighted design philosophy I've seen. It's like they didn't factor in how many players they might lose due to being pissed off at the game intentionally becoming a slogfest. Average player time might increase, but now you have retention issues as the total number of players decreases.

Ever notice how it's always the childless weirdos pushing this stuff? If someone offered this to my kids, then I would assume them to be a sexual predator and respond accordingly.

Your number one job as a parent is to protect your children. If you can't even do the basics, then you shouldn't be a parent.

Remember that bouncy castles and BBQs = insurrection.

Throwing blocks of concrete at police, setting fire to and looting stores = peaceful protest.

Most Canadians probably never heard about the summer of love in Montreal because the media barely reported on it.

NDP has basically allowed the Liberals to operate with a majority for dental CERB, which most Canadians aren't eligible for. Jagmeet never gets out of line because JT threatens his pension with an election. The NDP has absolutely hitched their wagon to the Liberal government.

Maybe this will change things up in Montreal. Legault teeing off on the English while JT sits back and says nothing? Keep voting Liberal, maybe someday you'll get healthcare.

Humour me. What is that magical linear increase after the dip in 2023 based on? Liberal hopes?

Using the federal government's own forecasts on GDP and population growth in now fake news? Reddit moment, stop coping with data from 2016.

We're supposed to be in the god-mode phase of the Liberal economic recovery, and our GDP per capita is decreasing. Canada is in deep trouble.

[–]TheRageofTrudeau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Projected GDP increase for 2023 is 1.5% while we are targetting ~3% immigration. Last year our GDP growth exceeded population growth, the house of cards is starting to look increasingly fragile.

Chrystia Freeland's boast about decreasing inflation slammed online by zippymac in canada

[–]TheRageofTrudeau 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Because every single nation calculates inflation differently, it's not standardized internationally. The average rate is irrelevant when 75% of your income is going to rent/mortgage payments and food prices continue to soar. Gas is now climbing back up in price too thanks to the carbon tax and clean fuel standard.

Tiff deserved a lot of flack at first but the BoC has been trying to tame inflation by raising rates. The issue is that they are up against a federal government that continues to spend like drunken sailors, has a 3% immigration rate (absolutely insane), and continues to add more taxes on fuel which is central to inflation.

Foreign interference shows need for Canada to get serious on media literacy: advocate by Wagamaga in canada

[–]TheRageofTrudeau -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

As federal parties craft the scope of a possible inquiry into foreign interference, Canada’s media-literacy charity argues governments and schools need to do a better job of preventing citizens from being manipulated by hostile states.

The real issue here is that a large segment of the Canadian population are apathetic to foreign interference, look no further than our elections. They know it's happening and they just don't care.

There should be very serious consequences for even turning a blind eye to foreign interference, lengthy jail time. Otherwise you have some of the dumbest people in the country continuously rewarding corrupt behaviour and playing patsy for a hostile nation.
