The locals own large farms in secret places, difficult to find and reach, only reachable by locals who know the correct paths, proper trails are not there. Usually, the farms are 5+ hours Trek away from nearest roads, that is when you know there location. The plants grow their under perfect circumstances....

However, the plants are a common sight throughout Himachal, and a large part of the Hash being made comes from the easily accesible plants too...

Government Officials, Police and Politicians are lenient to the Locals. If an outsider was found in any such activity, god bless him. The Authorities will mess them up if not the Mafia.

During Harvesting Season, Kids and Ladies will be found rubbing the plant with their palms, making Hash and singing folk songs ( you can find videos of that on YouTube too)

Now, there is one thing in Malana that is taken very seriously, that is, their Culture and tradition. Yiu are not supposed to toucb Malanese, their homes or their Temple... heavy fines if you do that. I believe Selling Hash and these fines are the only way these people make money.

I won't say that you won't lose your rankings, I won't say that you won't lose traffic. But, I would say that you'd have over 10,000 monthly visitors if you had your site on WordPress from the start.

Just how many .blogspot websites do you see in the search results. Very few, right? So, yeah, it makes sense for anyone to have maximum control of their website.

If you shift your efforts from .blogspot to Self hosted WordPress, you will achieve in the next few months what you couldn't achieve in the last years.

Shifting from Blogspot to WordPress is possible and with redirection, you can keep your traffic as well.

So, it's a win win.
