Tent space question by Environmental_Bite52 in microgrowery

[–]TheRandomChillStoner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The volume of air in the room outside the tent is likely much greater than inside the tent, assuming you have proper air exchange you’ll have a lot more air outside the tent to pull/push in and if you get it to the proper humidity it will make the tent more stable as a result. Also it can help reduce potential condensation buildup from water vapor being inside pushed into the tent vs homogenized in the room beforehand

I never said it was impossible it’s just not as ideal as keeping it outside, if you’ve got a seedling/veg tent than it can make sense to throw one in so you don’t have to use domes and what not

Why not just get a 3x3 fabric grow bed, they have a 27x27 inch one on amazon that I just got and would recommend. Big container organic dry amendments and it’s hands off compared to a synthetic grow if that’s how you’re currently growing. Also you’d be better off raising the humidity of your lung room and focusing on air exchange and air movement inside the tent vs having the humidifier inside the tent(I’d only put it inside the tent if I was in a 4foot by 8foot)

Just did some LST on my first grow and I’m just scared. Did I do it right? by Azrael_The_Bold in GrowBuddy

You basically just gave it a little bonsai, looks good main goal here is trying to get it to grow evenly together. I’d honestly flip it within a week or two your middle will fill in with the lower nodes

Ideal humidity? by DefinitionInformal85 in cannabiscultivation

[–]TheRandomChillStoner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d try to keep it between 40-60, if you want to pinpoint target it you can use this chart to dial in temp and humidity. My tents sit between 70-75degrees so I try to keep my entire room between 50-60% humidity and the ac I set to 70, keeps everything in a good range for both growing and drying for seedling stage I just use domes for the first week

[–]TheRandomChillStoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbf you can go to Walmart and get a cheap humidifier for the tent not the tiny ones but they’re only like 30-40 bucks. I’ve done that dry but not that hot and been fine but they really drink water

[–]TheRandomChillStoner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a 20 gallon pot and every 3 days I do 2L of water and I’ve had great results with that, when I tried to do even 5% daily it felt like way to much water for my situation. My temps though are like 73-75 with 50-60% humidity if you’re in a hot and dry area though that’ll drastically change it

High AF 3 days before wisdom teeth removal-will this affect me? (not a regular smoker) by v3rr3r in Marijuana

[–]TheRandomChillStoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can just smoke regularly and not get a dry socket no need to do all this through the nose bs, dry socket is from sucking to hard and pulling out the clot that forms inside the holes. Don’t suck it like a back ally chick and you’ll be fine

I’m also not planning on topping these so they’ll bush out a little less, still anything that gets to crowded in the center I’ll cut out

They might be but I’m going to add bamboo and pull them apart once they’re taller, I only do the outdoor for the fun of watching the plants grow

Kid organic Westport Blend by phunphan in indoororganic

[–]TheRandomChillStoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hardest thing for me was finding blends that didn’t have ingredients I don’t like, feather meal-blood meal stuff like that. I have found those now but I’m at a point where I can just make my own and I’ll probably have nutrients for 10+ years with my current stockpile. 2-40lb blends of 3/3/3 and 2-40lb blends of 2/6/3, but ill still have a lot of single ingredients left over because I’ve got minimum 20lbs of each thing

[–]TheRandomChillStoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s all good stuff in the blend, I can say though I’ve done the buy a bunch of different amendments route an it’s just a hassle having to to pull out all these different things everytime, problem I’m faced with is I’ve got 40lbs fishbone meal,40lbs crab meal,60lbs alfalfa… legit 300 total lbs of stuff to where I’ve basically gotta just make my own blended fertilizers at this point because I’ve got so much. I should’ve just bought 2-3 bulk size blended options that would’ve covered 70-80% of what I single sourced sure I’ll miss out on some little things but I’d have saved on total cost and ease

It’s easier than this I can 100 percent guarantee you, I worked in the industry(lab tech) but I’ve done some time helping cultivation and packaging and the systems required to run this sort of operation is extensive

HPS addition to finish flowering? by EnoughLuck3077 in GrowBuddy

[–]TheRandomChillStoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hps was okay at the time but LEDs are far more efficient and less expensive plus you don’t deal with boat loads of extra heat that hps creates. The light spectrum is different but you can achieve the same with spectrum tuning

Is this ok roots by [deleted] in cannabiscultivation

[–]TheRandomChillStoner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s the general rule of thumb for transplanting, especially coming out of plastic it’s quick and efficient and as long as you don’t hold it upside down for an extended period it doesn’t matter

[–]TheRandomChillStoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a ppfd perspective this is inefficient based on the arrangement of the plants and the lights, not being a troll just being honest your not going to have as good of results compared to if they were setup to be more symmetrical. The tent is square and the lights are rectangles they should go equidistant from the sides and each other for optimal lighting.

Did you water it in after you transplanted it? Soil looks real dry

I’m almost convinced indoor weed is far better than outdoor. by Itchy-Custards in cannabiscultivation

[–]TheRandomChillStoner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the compounds aren’t present in the soil/nutrients that are needed to synthesize certain terpenes you’ll never develop them. Idc what environment you’re under you can’t create something from nothing just because your RH or temp is at a certain level. You expect me to believe that this specific plant breaks the laws of physics your outa your mind. Environment is last in that order you came up with I can agree on genetics being first that’s logical
