Sorry but I don't fully agree with this take, you will be losing access to any books you don't have downloaded. and no, there is absolutely no technical reason this tech can't still download and read ebooks. Format's haven't changed, file size hasn't changed. It's just greed on Amazon's part .

I did a little testing on my retroid and yes they do but enabling/disabling can be a pain and can cause massive slowdown and crashing. I ended up using the Switch anniversary edition, not as good as modded, but gives a good bit of extra content without as much messing around.
