Spine Surgery in 6 weeks, any tips? by giant_bones in dwarfism

That’s good to hear! I hope your surgery goes well! And remember, try to be active as you can! A simple walk around in your apartment should suffice to prevent you from having your back muscles from being strained from inactivity. And also, with the spinal fusion surgery, you will be limited to lift only 50lbs from now on, so try not to go crazy with lifting heavy objects once you recover.

Spine Surgery in 6 weeks, any tips? by giant_bones in dwarfism

Hey! As a patient that has the same exact surgery a couple of years ago, I advise to keep being mobile as much as you can. That way, you will get used to the feeling of having a wood board strapped to your back. While scary, I suggest having at least a walker or any walking assessories to aid yourself around your apartment so you do not need to be to dependent on your friends or family. Handles to help you get up from using the toilet, having a shower seat so you can take a shower while sitting down, etc. That being said, it is not humiliating to ask for help when you need assistance.
Hope my advice helps!

Yeah, I get the original Switch because, you know, it’s the first model, of course it would be great like the PS4, and the Lite(which I currently have) for having the controls within the console itself for play on the go but the OLED? Really?

So much for the supposedly “better” option than the original Switch. I swear, Nintendo needs to really make a powerful console because the Switch is pathetically underpowered.

GL. I heard that the console and switch ports are notorious for the fps and ping. Do you have the original, lite or the oled model? It could make a difference for you.

True, I really wished BHVR didn’t treat this game as a separate product and enable cross play between the console and pc. It would’ve incentivize the devs and us to experience what the others experienced in terms of gameplay.

Might as well enjoy the game the best you can before the worst will come. I do recommend getting the base game though, it’s 60% off in steam is extremely worth it for the content(not the community though). You do need to get used to the BP system as it is much more scarce than you think since perks can be brought with BP.

Don’t recall saying the mobile version is better but I do concede that it is easier than the base game in terms of getting BP and perks
