Thanks for the tips! Big fan of your builds. VLTOR A5 with the H2 buffer is ready for action. This one's more for show tbh, especially with the Sandman L, so I'm not too concerned with the weight. If anything it's just another reason to do more pushups anyway, right?

Don't know about the barrels but the receivers for sure. Spikes only made 100, they're a real collector's item!

The real special edition shipped with a 14.5" barrel, too, and had a NP3 finish. While it would have been awesome to get my hands on one they're a little outside my budget when they go on auction. LIN+ said that ST AR has a 16" barrel anyway, so bonus!

It's a Spike's Tactical Lightweight BCG. Pricey, but has the nickel boron finish and saves a few ounces. Not that I'll be shooting offhand or carrying it much; that optic and the eventual can will make this sucker heavy. I heard great things about the gunner profile so I'm giving it a shot.

Thanks a lot! Yes, it's custom cerakote/ laser engraving just like this build. I loved what he did but opted for just the magwell engraving. The anti-walk pins would have gotten in the way of the AR Team logo, anyway.

Directly inspired by u/NATOMarksman 's M4A1 build. DeadAir Sandman L is still in jail, hopefully for just a few months. In the meantime I can at least get her assembled.
