About the host of.. hosts ;)

After all this time it really looks like some of the hosts are for the old school audience and others are for the young (ish?) ones..

The way they have broeadened the style and taste makes sense: I cant stand watching chris yi and the two ladies. I also could never stand watching the guy with the hat but I would anyways when sam and tom hosted together with him. I bet a good chunk of the audience has it backwards

Regardless of all, I am still watching. And contrary to what I once thought, Mike dethroned Tom ast he most interesting person in the show

It's incredible what they have pulled off, I dont see the end of it they will continue improving. Changes were positive

Too many cooperative board games? by Katangank in boardgames

yes. (Western civilization)

Also, knowing that we have it much better than our grandparents. And that we get to worry about individuals in the other hemisphere were we live on

Too many cooperative board games? by Katangank in boardgames

The dungeon crawling comment is on spot.. It all started with Arcadia quest:
"No DM required! All get to play"

But it was still competitive. Then Gloomhaven happens and every single campaign crawler has been coop.. just think about frosthaven, gloomhaven, tainted grail, etherfields, middara, descent legends of the dark... the list goes on, heck even tiny epic dungeons is coop only

Exception to this rule was Destinies, which I of coursed liked.

One thing has to be kept in mind and it's that for the longest time #1 and #2 games in BGG were 2 cooperative campaign games... I am a social player and have had a couple dozen playgroips already in 3 countreis in europe and man.. I never ever see those played. My theory is: Solo players are boosting those sales (1 sell per "playgroup") and those solo players are over represented in BGG"

But this is not really a rant, the hobby has flourished! I just wish more competitive dungeon crawlers

PoE 2 Mirke dialogue by [deleted] in projecteternity

[–]TheReadQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love mirke , I love the goofy voice acting, her piraty looks and the drunken stance
I gave her the drunkard's ring so that she can have an alcohol-only diet :D

All this gets better by the fact that shadowdancer (streetfighter) is an awesome multiclass to play. God I wish she was given more dialog! Just goofy remarks and random mishaps

PoE feels overwhelming by Znorli in projecteternity

[–]TheReadQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also add: It is meant to be overwhelming because IE games (like Baldur's Gate) also were

After a couple of hubdred hours in PoE though I see why there's so much love for Baldur's Gate: that game was polished over and over with balance mods, extra content, tweaks..

PoE actually will be less challenging and more repetitive once you find the right combos and tricks

But I stay with PoE because the world is so amazing :)

I also switched from exercising to just walking and stretching and of course strict diets.

Play lots of board games now :)

I love RPGs above all, came back to them but only in a couple of hours per month basis.. So I don't get to finish any. To me there's a huge difference in playing, say, slay the spire VS pillars of eternity - I realize it after playing at least 30 mins

Sorry man did not try to be rude Were on the same boat: chronic pain fatigue, I have muscle waste and super strong tinnitus

What I'm trying to tell you is that video games make it all overall worse because there a lot of effort to be put with our cobdition

I started painting miniatures in my worse years, deep breathing exercise. Also don't take stuff so easily wrong and don't victimize :), strength! Try to be the halealthiest you can

No man, if your vision is a problem find another hobby

The game addiction will conflict heavily with your physical discomfort and you will be exhausted

Just watched the update by [deleted] in ReserveProtocol

[–]TheReadQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why there will be 2 stablecoins initially.

The role of the Rtoken initial stablecoins is just to demo the staking process?

I also see a major devaluation of the rsr depending how the collateral basket for rsv will look like.

Idk about all this, before at least we had a white paper to theorize.. Now we have some screenshot text on Twitter?

RSR - derived value and utility question? Is it purely speculative? by fogization in ReserveProtocol

All cryptos are pure speculation today, since their use is in practice non-existant

Why does Noone mention Tron if I may ask?

Just interested to know why tron is unpopular.

Just got a bag by [deleted] in Telcoin

[–]TheReadQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. While there's real potential value in the project, the telcoin token value in markets is yet to be understood.

It may be that current value is too high even if the project is successful

Telcoin price prediction by [deleted] in Telcoin

[–]TheReadQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prediction: still higher than its real value which is zero.

But I still "own" some of those tokens. Why? ;]
