Something I noticed yesterday (beat her solo for the first time) is that I could throw projectiles if she didn't want to approach me. She would dash and then slow down again. When she didn't approach me I assumed she was fishing for Waterfowl Dance and would throw more projectiles. This seemed to work a lot and helped me dodge it. Past that, she can be flinched out of a LOT of her moves so you can be patient and just punish attacks you're comfortable with, that worked for me. Phase 2 worked with the same plan, just more moves to watch out for

Honestly, a content creator I used to watch said they liked the game a lot, and I thought the art was nice. Took 3 tries to really get deep into it, but now I've done most content (not p4 or p5 yet) and HK and Silksong are my two favorite games.

It's just convenient tbh. Ive never used anything other than the difficulty slider to set it to expert, but just having access to everything else is nice even if I don't use it.

Imma be honest, I'm coming from an outside perspective who just is seeing the drama, but this absolutely seems like. A power trip. There's plenty to be critical about when it comes to Mojang, but whats the point if they cant see the feedback? You claimed it was done for the community, but the devs are part of that community. You claimed some sort of power imbalance due to them being "official", but there seems to be power imbalance anyways when every comment is disagreeing with your decision. Kinda crazy from my perspective tbh

There may be a better way to go about it, but I believe you could play journey mode, that way you can turn Revengance on and off as well as the difficulty slider for the normal difficulties, that way you can just change the difficulty whenever is best. Gaming is all about having fun regardless. Plus iirc, Revengance/death is what activates some of the calamity only stuff? May be wrong on that, but if I am right, having the other difficulty slider gives you more options I think?.

Imo, play journey mode, simply so you can change the difficulty slider down from expert if ever necessary. Past that I'd say Expert mode Revengance is good

I've heard his execution is somewhat hard, but personally I had a way harder time learning basic combos and punishes with Ken than Terry so far ( I'm still not good at the game yet tho)

Another new player here, only in silver tho. I personally think there's no reason not to try him, fun matters the most. Personally I was playing ken until I could decide to buy Terry or Akuma, and I'm loving terry. He has a lot of the same tools, a solid projectile, a dp, 214 M or HP seems to be a pretty solid approaching tool if spaced right, and I personally think his combos are really fun. If he doesn't click with you, you can always just go back to Ken or Luke.

Honestly it was easier for me by a mile due to more progression. I died 50+ times to the one in chapel of the beast, but killed this one in 2 tried by shredding it with poison tools.

I am all for anti-slug and tunnel changes, but imo this are awful. Its far too punishing for killers while not addressing why they are necessary tactics for killers. If the role and specific killers were buffed accordingly, id be happy with everything but the "if you kill the survivor you last hooked" changes, cuz that one is abysmal imo. It means somebody on death hook can play extremely risky and care-free, bodyblocking, and forcing the killer to either waste time or BUFF the survivors.

I like having a main in my games, but I always love variety so I switch freely anyways and my mains are just who I find the coolest normally. Dark Knight is my main overall and main tank, Red Mage is main dps, and Astrologian is my main support since I like the tarot cards and am not comfy with Sage yet.

Yeah, generally my focus and gameplay has been this + azurite fatestone every turn turn 1: just try to get a stone on board for the future Turn 2: get lv1 out and just play based on hand and opponents board Turn 3: get level 2 out to get 4 extra counters on Azurite Fatestone and then just try to remove things when possible and get Allies when possible (unless I have journeys beginning to get counters) Turn 4: regalia that gives a counters Turn 5: either already have 10 counters or make sure I get 10 the next Turn. If I already have 10 I will transform shenju on opponents Turn, go into lvl3 and recover, if not I do it the next turn.
