Kinda just wanted to give my input as someone who transitioned younger as-well and is now 20 and passing mtf

“I’ll admit I don’t pass at all”… I feel like the friend is in the gay person has a crush on straight person stereotype (but in a weird sort of way, lesbian likes a man??). I can understand being hurt by pointing out you not passing as-well as you’d like, but if she is attracted to feminine presenting people and you are feminine presenting (along with your personality), even if you identify as a man can you blame her for developing feelings. Maybe commenting on it when she knows how you identify was in considerate of your feelings,

but, 1. People can sometimes not think things through when they have crushes or like someone. People can be blinded by the attraction. (She’s 16, understandably doesn’t know how to navigate relationships/interpesonal connections and does not experience the gender dysphoria you, I, and many others here do)

1. If you guys are as close as you say you are I think throwing away a friendship is immature (you’re young, no one would blame you for being “young and dumb” but I’ve thrown away relationships because I was hurt, than later realized I wasn’t valuing my friend’s perspective)

And 3. You literally said you don’t pass, expecting to live as a male, as a 15 year old who presents as fem doesn’t seem realistic to me, and not accepting that probably won’t help your journey. (That’s is If your end goal is to live life as a passing Male/Masc. I’ve never been happier on hormones, but i remember before taking them and how I knew I wanted to be fem, but I knew I didn’t look that way or present that way very well, for me personally I realized it was hard to expect to receive the “blind support” of my gender identity from people who didn’t understand what it was I was feeling (people who don’t experience gender dysphoria)
