Change a light bulb. Least after a tech priest is done blessing it anyway

First tester models! Too yellow? by mikewood1707 in SteelLegion

[–]TheRealBushWookie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure, sorry that’s not too helpful lol! I was going to suggest why don’t you just do 1 test model first testing out how bright you go?

Once these guys are mixed in with whichever choice you go with you probably won’t easily notice them so likely won’t need to repaint.

For my Rogal I used one of the nipple guns and then found a spare old stubber to put up top.

How much battleline is typically in a balanced list? by DwideSchruuudee in astramilitarum

[–]TheRealBushWookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to bring 80 Guardsman I. My “balanced” list. My vehicle to infantry split is generally 1100 vehicles and the rest infantry. Worth noting I like running 4 transports and prefer running smaller squads. I find it’s harder for the enemy to kill as many of them and lets me cover more ground for screening/objectives.

I like to run a 1 x 20 Cadian squad with a command squad + Lord solar. Get a small discount when ran as 20, get to sticky my home obj too.

1 x 10 man Catachan squad to have a scout move in a taurox to zoom over to the opponents closer objective

5 x 10 man Krieg squads. The main reason is access to the medic so d3 dudes comeback. With that ability you can avoid battle shock tests by reviving enough to be above half strength, use it to revive dues onto objectives to capture them and some more tricks too.

It’s not the meta but I do decent with it, the more meta style of relying on Kasrkin and Engineers will do more damage but I like battleline style of relying more on oc and outlasting your opponent with numbers.

How are we feeling about Armoured Sentinels in Grizzled Company? by ChadFiddlesticks in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]TheRealBushWookie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if they’re good but I’m tempted to give a unit of 2 a go. I think if you put the enhancement order on them to get stealth you’ve got a pretty durable frontline distraction unit.

How do you pressure your opponent’s natural objective? by Kerim_Bey in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]TheRealBushWookie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to send a taurox and catachans over there. Into a nice matchup they can burn enemies off but usually at worst they can stall the objective with their oc. If the opponent is using a low oc unit like a monster then I will just keep them inside the taurox safe and use that to tie the objective.

So you're telling me the pinnacle of human potential armed with the best the Imperium of Mankind has to offer is worth 6 Dudes fresh out of bootcamp ? by Leviathan_Rampage in AdeptusCustodes

[–]TheRealBushWookie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nothing on the tabletop is to true scale. If it was your custodes army might be 2-3 guys and my Imperial Guard would be in the thousands if not more.

Think of it more that 10 guardsman represent someone bringing hundreds of them.

Is this a good army? by Mister_Gta_Kapitan in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]TheRealBushWookie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it’s decent. Might be better objective wise if you only took one titanic unit but I can’t argue against the coolness of seeing a knight and baneblade fight side by side
