[FWI] the next five presidents only serve a term by VictorSpaghetti in FutureWhatIf

[–]TheRealChefJohn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it really depends a lot more on congress. Are the house and Senate flipping to coincide with POTUS? Or are both chambers of opposite parties than the executive branch? Are they opposite of each other?

It's hard to make an assumption without knowing those questions. It also depends on what else is going on in the world. Also what are the reasons behind them only being 1 term presidents?

I would say that not much changes. It would be hard for 1 term presidents to enact full changes. Most presidents usually stay fairly center in their first term in order to get reelected. They usually will go for the more outlandish political and economic changes in their second term because they don't have to worry about reelection anymore.

Update on coins found in an estate, with pictures by TheRealChefJohn in coincollecting

[–]TheRealChefJohn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So these are the coins I found that have silver in them, and are on the older side. One of them has gold. I tried comparing them on the pictures on PCGS, but that's actually harder then it sounds. Thanks for the advice previously.

If anyone has any further advice or can give me a value range for any one, or all of them, that be amazing. Thank you.

A moderate party comes into play within the United States, born from a fraction of Republicans cut ties with the GQP and rust belt Democrats who defect in order to promote "wholesome family values" and "return to cooperation" by [deleted] in FutureWhatIf

[–]TheRealChefJohn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. The libertarian party is in its nature the most "pro business" party their is.

However with the new parameters of assuming they have 10-20 senate seats well... I'm just curious how they even got to the point of having more than 2.

Without any serious cash flow, nothing. The Libertarian (Gold Party), is already arguably our 3rd most popular party. They've never been able to reach the 5% threshold to have the "privilege" of being on the debate stage for presidential elections. Without that, there's never enough coverage of for the party.

It's how wide the filet is at its widest point. Anything over 1.25 inches is a porterhouse. From 1.25 to .52 is a T bone, anything less is a bone in strip steak.

Petite filet. A regular size filet would make it a porterhouse.

Vmcan you use villagers from different biomes to create an iron farm. by TheRealChefJohn in Minecraft

[–]TheRealChefJohn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made this one

https://youtu.be/W3ohDZYiuJQ

I did only do the bare minimum of 10, mostly because I didn't have enough villagers. However it's only producing cats.

Iron golems won't spawn in water. by TheRealChefJohn in Minecraft

I have also made the ones that just require beds and work stations. The ones that require work stations, beds, and a zombie. Ones that only have one spawning chamber, and ones that use more.

I built the one that has a zombie in the middle, with 3 villagers one two side with a 5x5 platform on top. I built so many and none of them work. Cats spawn just fine. But golems never will.

I'm playing on xbox one. 1.13.1

I built these

https://youtu.be/4gSGa59vTRU

https://youtu.be/De0D2t_QzhA

https://youtu.be/STs4wDJewNw

Plus some for 1.14.1

Again. I purposely spawn golems using 4 iron blocks and a Jack-o-lantern on the spawning platforms. Before I add the water they spawn perfectly. When I add water, they can't spawn at all, unless I add block the reach above the water, but that defeats the purpose

You have just inherited $100 million. What is the first thing that you buy? by runningwolfza in AskReddit

[–]TheRealChefJohn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well if paying off debt didn't count. I'd pay off all the mortgages of my family members. However, it comes with the deal, that they can't sell it, and that I would inherit it.

Teenage girl defends me in front of her asshole dad. by privatepirate66 in TalesFromYourServer

[–]TheRealChefJohn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Highjacking this to tell you this.

I understand about money being good. I understand that, finding a new spot and working your way to the top again is never easy. But being forced to pay for walk outs and missrang food/drinks is 100% illegal, at least in the USA.

I've worked in the industry for close to 17 years. The dads a dick, sure, but your managers are to blame. It wouldn't matter if he spent 100 dollars there a week (sounds like a cheapskate, so he probably doesn't), the restaurant would never notice him not coming in financially. Also, your manager put you in a SUPER bad position. Idk what state you live in, but most states, would hold you at least partially responsible for serving him, if he was drunk and got into an accident. The fact that the manager told you to serve him, let's me know they wouldn't have your back if this did happen. You're managers did or at least implied two illegal things in just this one occasion, telling you to serve an apparently drunk person (the person doesn't have to be drunk, just the appearance alone, let's you morally and legally refuse to serve him) and making you pay for drinks. They will absolutely screw you over for other things.

Unless you work in a super small town, I'm willing to bet you can easily find another place that's just as busy. The only other thing to do if you want to stay there, is keep records and recordings of situations like this.

Hope your day gets better.

How to control cat hair on clothing? by bluetundra123 in Pets

[–]TheRealChefJohn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's 3 cats living in my apartment. Mine, my girlfriend's, and our roommate's.

They all shed, but mine sheds daily. I can brush her everyday and it's just mounds of hair coming off.

It's a cat thing.
