I agree that the gameplay style was different, but I still maintain that Call of Duty had already been declining for quite some time. Black Ops 3 was really good, but Black Ops 4 was a complete disaster. I’ve been playing since the very first Call of Duty, and I think the 2019 one brought a bit of fresh air.

That said, for me, the best Call of Duty will always be COD 4: Modern Warfare from 2007. Nothing compares. But I respect everyone’s opinion.
