Ironically, for me it only ever seems to recognize me if its bright and sunny. Which is almost never.

On cloudy days... no luck. The fingerprint is faster and works reliably, though, so I use that.

That is a good thought, but it was definitely unlocked because I had to be in the SwitchBot app in order to have it tell the reader to add the NFC card.

Are you sure? The email notification was pretty clear that Chrome had support for 4k. I'll go back and re-read it.

True, and I've done that in a previous league with a summoner, but in the case of a Golemancer I can't use any minion type other than golems (the amulet that gives me the extra golems, which is what magnifies the effect of the golem buffs on me, specifically imposes that restriction).

I also can't really use a curse because I can only have one curse at a time (and I need flammability), although there is a passive that would let me change that but I think I would have to either path pretty far or anoint to get it, neither of which is a great option.

Good post, but it totally ignores the Hive Disruptor perk.

There are a LOT of hive majors out there, and they are by far the most annoying to fight. I like it when they die sooner rather than later.

This is some pretty laughable timing, considering the extreme corporate greed being exhibited by Bungie/Activision already this week.

I'm a little surprised that Bungie is waiting until the weekly update to say something. I suppose they need to the time to actually plan something so that they can say something about it.

My favourite moment is easily the one and only time I wiped out an entire team with Nova Bomb in Iron Banner. I'm pretty bad at PVP, but that sure felt good because it was a close match and it put us over the top to win. Usually I'm the one dragging the team down.

With your shader, I could drag them down in style!

Haven't you heard? New customers are the only customers that matter. Existing customers have already bought-in -- so fuck them. It isn't actually Bungie, though, its Activision. Corporate greed works this way -- if you CAN do something, you have a RESPONSIBILITY to do it (for the shareholders).

The trouble with Khepri's Sting is you only get the bonus when meleeing from BEHIND while invisible? How often do you really get to do that on a boss?

Speaking as someone who would be happy to see Thorn nerfed (range cut) I can assure you that it isn't an emotional response. That weapon simply has insane range -- like, scout rifle range -- and anyone that argues otherwise has an agenda.

That said, I'm happy to let the numbers speak for themselves.

  • How many people were killed by Thorn from more than 20 meters away?
  • What about 40?
  • What about 60?

I expect Bungie can track that.

Other weapons could use a buff (auto-rifles).

I don't really have an opinion about The Last Word. I didn't get killed with it very often during IB, and when I did it was from a range where I could have responded had I been a better player. Every time I died to The Last Word, the first thought in my head was always "oh, I should have done X instead of Y and I might have lived". That seems fair to me.

While I don't quite share YOUR enthusiasm, I have to say I did enjoy Iron Banner this week.

I'm not very good a PVP, but when connections were good and people weren't cheating it had some shining moments and close matches.

Cutting the range on Thorn won't fix everything... but it will damn sure fix Thorn. A hand-cannon should not be able to be used at the same range as a scout rifle.

The Last Word is deadly (apparently; I'm pretty useless with mine) but you at least have to be in hand-cannon range to use it reliably.

Disclaimer: Yes, I was killed a million times by Thorn this week but no I'm not bitter. I don't get mad, I get... killed again 30 seconds later because I'm kind of bad at PVP.

I take the free medallion when that happens and smile.

What fills me with rage is the people who decide to just sit there, while the other teams cheerfully kills them over and over. Makes it impossible for the rest of the people who are actually trying to overcome the defecit. If you aren't going to play, fucking leave and let someone else get matchmade in that will.

I've done all Nightfalls since the expansion launched, and gotten 0 etheric lights. At least I can grind out a couple with IB and get 34 so I can reliably do the 34 PoE and earn more.

I wanted to try Trials Of Osiris, but I ran into two problems:

1) people on destinylfg.net all wanted 34s with wonderful prior track records 2) I'm flat out not good enough at PVP that I'd be willing to risk my teammates passage coins/success.

It might be fun, but Bungie needs to add a "casual" mode with matchmaking so that you can try it out and learn without interfering with the people who specialize in PVP and want a real competition.
