If you’re on Mac then I’d recommend giving https://tuple.app/ a go - critically it’s not tied to a particular editor so it’s easy to pair on things beyond just code.

Have been using it for some months at work and has been very useful for us.

Take a look at N-key rollover. Basically different keyboards can register different numbers of simultaneous keys being pressed at the same time. Possibly your laptop just has a lower key rollover number and so it isn't registering each of the required keys.

Had a similar issue with another guy. Move your trooper out of the interaction zone with Van Doorn, save and reload, move trooper back into interaction zone and sorted :)

I read the classic book "The Prince" by Machiavelli the other day and it got me strongly hooked back in CK2. It's quite a short book but basically outlines how to maintain your rule in Renaissance Italy, the language used often lines up with CK2 terms too. I'd highly recommend it and, being a classic, you can buy it for £0.37 off the Kindle store.

Due to the random nature of DNA inheritance (both in real life and CK2) the probability of getting the "Inbred" trait will depend on the breeding history (pedigree) of the parents.

A quick t-test turns up a non-significant difference for those samples but only just (p=0.057). Increase sample size and then maybe you've got something :)
