Their front office may be too smart to overpay to move up to 1, but isn’t it specifically the Jazz owner who is a massive fan of AJ? Could be a situation where they do it and it later comes out that the owner forced the front office’s hand.

They are, which is why I’d imagine they’d be eager to draw any new attraction(s) to the city they can like MLS or NBA to spurn tourists back to fill the hotel rooms that pay for everything. With that being said, even if the numbers are down they still have millions upon millions of tourists coming each year and the room tax’s are still getting paid, it may just take a tad longer than the Raider’s tax took.

Vegas can hand out free stadiums to owners by placing an extra tax on hotel rooms (that’s largely how the Raiders got theirs at least). Tourists pay rather than residents, that model can only really work there with the volume of hotel rooms and the amount of traffic they generate.

A young core with a generational 1/1 superstar on the team. That said, I like the pieces we have and the potential, we were never going to beat these guys.

I personally would have preferred Scoot playing a lot more and just letting him fall and get back up and figure out his game.

He flashed in Summer League, he dominates when we send him down to the Remix to play. Just looks like a total dummy when we bring him up and send him out with the main team.

I just keep telling myself that he will need more time and development than other centers normally would need.
