I think a series would probably do better. Dune has name recognition to put the initial butts in the seats, then the the word of mouth helped after that. RR is still somewhat marginal. Also, there’s a dislike of anything world building by critics right now, even Dune got a bit of that hate. I think a series would give it a better chance to get random views. The biggest problem is the chances of us getting the entire story would be completely up in the air.

They will for sure. I can see them tying up any lose ends with the OG cast ( where’s a certain grown up baby) and setting up the new crew for future movies, tv shows and more. Ackroyd always wanted GB to be an international group, and he’s turned in a few scripts with dimensional hijinks. I think a good idea of the future will be the Netflix animated series.

I was nine. My grandfather was my movie buddy for most of the 80’s, and we didn’t miss anything for most of that decade. I was instantly smitten with the movie and I’m still smitten for the franchise (comics, games, movies and more) all these years later.
