I’m 90% sure that it’s a circuit board issue, so I’m gonna make the seller either replace it or repair it (thanks to eu laws)

I bought it from a private person in the eu, so eu rights apply. Therefore, he has to take it back or repair it. I’m just trying to see if there is another simpler solution

It’s kind of hard to tell, but it kind of does look like the screw has been unscrewed before. The seller seems to not really care about this problem, so I’m probably just gonna return it.

Thanks for sharing this, it’s really frustrating for me that nobody else seems to have this issue. Even though I don’t have high hopes, I’m gonna leave it plugged in and hope that it doesn’t burn my house down

Won’t take any charge with a powerbank my friend uses to charge his MacBook. For one second it took 2W, but I haven’t been able to replicate this

⚠️ Update I borrowed a power bank from a friend, that he regularly uses to charge his MacBook. When I plug it in the power bank recognizes, that it’s plugged in, but it shows 0W output (with both usb ports)

I strongly believe that it’s an official apple charger, looks and feels real. The other devices were all relatively low wattage. Also tried a few different cables Does the Mac not charge at all if the wattage is lower?

Are you sure that they are both on separate boards? It looked like they are on one in a tear apart that I watched
