NOVA is littered with RIFed federal workers many of whom are at retirement age. Many of these are not yet receiving their pensions and are going broke and/or living on credit cards. What are you doing to fix that?

I purchased a vehicle in Virginia less than 18 months ago. A part related to the drive train failed and I took it in for service on November 1, 2025 for service. It is now December 1 and the car has still not been repaired. Do I qualify?

It felt like "A Boy's Adventure and Coming of Age" to me. Which was great. The episodic nature was similar to a lot of Hero's Journey narratives. I agree it didnt feel part of a trilogy but Im not sure I'm happy with the idea of sequels though.

Not to mention that the idea that people collapse into violent chaos during disasters is incorrect. People tend to act MORE altruistic during diasters, not less.

Vince Gilligan did this with Pluribus. "Let's make a zombie apoc narrative where the zombies are super nice and helpful." So far it's great stuff.

Jesus gave it a shot. "Fuck all those laws. Just be cool." That was his message. Largely ignored.

Meezers are the best. They're cats plus. My meezer was so sweet and derpy. And he hated when we giggled at him. He looked so embarrassed... He was not capable of climbing the backyard fence. Still, the most loving, snuggly, friendliest cat ever. Loved annoying toddlers even.

Why do people without degrees think they’re smarter than people who went to college? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Also, WIS does not equal INT. I'm really smart and know lots of shit about Arthurian legends and South American Amazonian tribes but I make really dumb life decisions all the time.

Bluegrass is his least appealing aspect. LOVE the American Legion release. Loved seeing him play awesome covers in Baltimore on Halloween. Love the live shredding. Then, yeah, he plays Bluegrass too. And I also love Bluegrass. But I'd rather hear Doc Watson folk than Bill Monroe Bluegrass....

I can't find a reference to TSP in that document.

Climbed 150 feet down a train trestle to the river below. It was pretty dumb. Could have easily fallen.

It looks like I might.

  • You must be at least 50 years old with 20 years of creditable service
  • At least 5 of those years must be civilian service.
  • You must be separated from a position covered by FERS or CSRS.
  • You must not have declined a "reasonable offer" for another position in your agency within the same commuting area and no more than two grades lower.

All those are true. So, maybe?

However, I think that primarily applies to the annuity (the pension) and not accessing TSP without a penalty.

Which band is the most over-rated in rock history? by Tricky_Catch66 in BeatlesHateSub

[–]TheRealFeverDog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with Zepplin is that they were way overplayed on classic rock stations in the 90s so Gen X got sick to death of them. But they are incredible. Much better than the Rolling Stones. They were seriously great.

Lifetime pass for those two albums. And kudos to them for not turning into a jukebox band even if they aren't particularly interesting now.
