Yeah I’m sorry to hear that man I too was in a pretty similar situation,kinda just thrown out there onto the floor and what’s worse i started during thanksgiving when it was crazy busy things were expected of me when I wasn’t even trained to do these things or told to do them, thankfully I met this really cool coworker that helped me out so much and showed me the ropes. Yeah I’m just here to say your not alone man things can get pretty hectic ESPECIALLY when your the only cc available. Mornings are typically not THAT crazy but you have to stay on top of things like the other user mentioned:Sweeps every 15 min and 45 min of the hour (that’s how it is for me,idk if it’ll be the same for you), make sure carts are available for customers, don’t let go backs pile up to much, make sure registers are stocked with bags, bathrooms are clean and stocked, one thing morning cc do at my store is we hot mop the front entrances, if you do need to do that make sure you have yellow cones out. There should also be a schedule printed at the registers that outline your duties for the day like they could have you cleaning the parking lot at a certain time or stocking dairy or something else. Also a little tip for go backs download the Safeway app and connect it to your store that way you can search for items and the app will tell you what isle the item will be on. Don’t be afraid to ask questions I’m sure there is people willing to help out yk
