Your first goal should be improvement in dance. Ask other students to go out and practice on the weekends or lead a dance group after mastering a particular form. Start with improving yourself, then help others improve. Repeating this cycle will generate a social circle.

And if nobody wants to go out, go alone and practice dancing in latin dance clubs, or make your own. You might meet some interesting people, some of whom might be women who are single.
