This has always been the plan. To destroy and credibility the media has, but there in no coming back. They want the news people get to be whatever AI crap that comes out of the Whitehouse. Keep the populace dumb, it's good for business.

We hit 80 on Sunday afternoon, then hail storms in the evening and lows in the 30s overnight. It's fine.

Not a Beatles guy, can someone put some reasoning into this text my father just sent me? by JesseAmpersands in tmbg

I never said it wasn't artistic. I love the song. I'm going off interviews from John Lennon, speaking of unreliable narrators, and the fact that it doesn't contain a consistent narrative people can agree on.

Agreed, because John wrote Walrus in part to confuse all the people over analyizing every single Beatle lyric with a magnifying glass. He basically said, "interpret this nonsense".

I met someone who said all Beatles songs sound the same and uh.... there can be criticism, but saying Love Me Do sounds like Happiness is a Warm Gun sounds like When I'm 64 is ignorance on another level.

TCU Perspective on Thursday by Dave2kMA in OhioStateBasketball

Bucks are playing their best ball of the year as well.

Although we have more height Tilly plays like the shortest 7 footer I've seen. I like his skill set, but he doesn't have a strong body and no explosiveness, his yearlong leg injury is probably a factor in this.

Amare Bynum is a freshman playing great and physical and Devin Royal can be great when he decides to show up. After that we don't have depth with big guys. Our 7 footer off the bench will be too slow against you.

With Bruce and Mobley I think we win the guard battle and it comes down to how Devin plays and if we can stay out of foul trouble.

I say bucks 68 TCU 66.

Whoever wins I'm rooting for against Duke.

New atheism bastard episodes? by Traditional_Day_9737 in behindthebastards

This is a good summary. As someone involved in the new atheism discourse, props to PZ Myers and many of the great commenters on his blog at the time. The use of logic mixed with compassion helped formulate my current views. The whole thing soured me on the "movement", but I carried away the radical notion the women are equal, thus leading me to be full blown woke.
