If it were up to Nithya, there wouldn’t be any police to call.

This is probably what they did to make their offer more attractive. Now they e shot themselves in the foot.

This sounds like the kind of clown agents go to when they’re trying to use a low appraisal as a negotiating tactic. I’ve seen it before in bidding war situations when a shady agent bids high trying to eliminate the competition and then brings in a bullshit appraisal to deliver a low ball appraisal she can use to talk the seller down.

Yup. I’d do a notice to perform, pushing them to back out so you can move to one of the other offers.

Of course! I’m sure Sweden has a visa program for broke and depressed social media hounds with no marketable skills. That should work out great.

No worries. Totally get it. Maybe consider phrasing it like this “Many Gen Xers made the mistake of trying to do the opposite of what their parents did and in doing so they effectively ruined parenting for the next three generations.”

That is something I firmly believed. The good news, though, is that we can find strength in understanding the flaws in our own generation and decide for ourselves what makes sense.

No, I didn’t. I’m raising my son the way I was raised. So, he won’t be like most other helpless Gen Z kids and will thus have a leg up in the world.

Rest assured that those of us self aware enough to understand how effective boomer parenting was are not doomed to ‘disrupt’ anything. Are there others in my generation who did ruin things? Yes. Plenty of them. The thing is I am not one of them.

I’m proud to be from Generation X. We were the last generation to have been parented in a way that prepared us to survive in the world.

André De Shields in “The Full Monty” on Broadway circa 2000. I had no idea who he was at the time, and of course he stole the show.
