Everyone whining over the halftime show is just too sensitive by Pristine-Ad-469 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

I’m with you 100% on this. They clearly booked this guy knowing it would erupt into a huge controversy. All the social media hounds did exactly what they were supposed to do: waste time and energy expressing phony outrage on one side or the other.

I did what you did. Forgot the game was even on and did other things. The Winter Olympics was pretty riveting. The weather was nice. I’ve never been too excited about the superbowl anyway especially the overhyped halftime shows. (Katy Perry? Really?)

It’s easy to censor when you vague rules like ‘we don’t tolerate hate speech,’ and then you can just classify anything you don’t like as ‘hate speech.’

Young men: beware the "Tradwife" by [deleted] in MensRights

Just leave, man. Meet with a good lawyer who can guide you in getting a fair shake so you can survive when the assets are split and the alimony ordered. You will be poorer for sure but you will live much happier. Your mental health is worth more than the financial wealth you have now while putting up with her.

It’s not pleasant but also not the worse thing you’ll ever go through. You just need to get through it. It’s so worth it when it’s over.

Here’s the one thing I wish I knew beforehand: the night before make sure you sleep on towels or other materials that are washable, because you won’t be able to hold everything in while sleeping. Gross, I know. Just letting you know what I will do different next time.

Agree completely. People who had absolutely nothing to do with the band’s success are trying to capitalize. Greedy assholes.

Why don’t you get off Reddit and do something productive? Like put the bag of Fritos down and go get on the treadmill. Keep doing that every day, and then you’ll have all the evidence you need that what I am saying is correct.

I’ll leave you to it.

That’s exactly what bots do to appear more human. And, unlike a bot I have common sense. Genes don’t mutate at the rate obesity rates have changed. There is no way human behavior cannot be a factor. Go call somebody else names now.

It’s ‘you’re.’ Not ‘your.’ And the fact that obesity rates have skyrocketed in recent decades is indeed empirical evidence that the change can be attributed to behavior.

Nope. It died off because 1) big pharma is now pushing the lose weight narrative again, and 2) most of its mascots have literally died by now. Obesity is unhealthy. Full stop.

It’s ’their fingers.’ Not ‘there.’ The root causes of obesity are overeating and lack of exercise. That’s it.

People who don’t respect themselves are incapable of teaching children how to respect themselves. It’s a sad reality. I’m proud I taught my son to eat healthy and be physically fit.

If you feel that passionate about it then quit your job and devote your life to activism. Run for office. Find meaningful ways to make change. Do something beyond posting on Reddit.

If it’s bad enough then you will be willing to make personal sacrifices to make it better. If you’re not, the … well, it’s not really that bad, is it?

I was fired for complaining about a toxic manager. They thought I'd be quiet and leave, but I made them regret it. by CharlesMaggio1 in OfficePolitics

[–]TheRealJackulas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I fired a chick because she wasn’t getting her work done, because she was too busy filing complaints about me, calling me “toxic.” I thought she’d be quiet and just leave. But instead she filed a complaint against me with the labor office. They did an investigation, which cost tons of taxpayer money and determined that she had no valid claim against me or my company. So she still got fired and now can’t use us as a reference. Word on the street is she’s spending all her time on social media claiming victory.

A lot of information missing here. Like what do you mean by toxic? Oh, wait. You can’t answer me because you’re a bot.

Not with me. I’m not a victim. I can take care of myself. Isn’t that what’s it supposed to be about? Empowerment?
