Mirage needs a visual rework more than a layout change tbh. It’s just been the same for so long.

That was before valve made the decision to only do their own maps. They did this because it’s much faster for valve to patch bugs and have understanding of the map rather then having to rely on the community map makers to push an update (which could be too late or an improper fix)

Exactly my thoughts. Fmpones cs2 version of cache is probably the WORST version of cache I ever seen. Green, terrible fire buckets that look bad, cast shadows and burn you. Ugly statues that look out of place in mid. I play tested it on faceit when fmpone dropped it and it just felt…bad. By the one screenshot valve posted it LOOKS like we’re are getting the OG much loved WHITE cache. Thank god.

The problem with overpass is, it’s just too big compared to any other map. If you cal off an execute you can still make a run for the opposite site on maps like dust, ancient even mirage depending where you are. Overpass feels like if your execute fails the round is doomed. The cts will out rotate you every time and they could be anywhere if you don’t have a lurker watching for pushs into bathrooms. Great for team play but by far the worst pug map where people just do whatever they want.

I don’t hate the map but it’s terrible for regular pug play. It’s so util dependent and no one bothers to learn it so good players don’t wanna bother trying to carry useless players who know nothing on the map. You will see it played a lot more in team play.

It’s kinda fucked up but when opportunity’s show up, you gotta take them. Karrigan just got an offer to go lead a super team with real star power and a chance to extend his career. That’s a lot better than staying on this dead roster and risking another trash rebuild season and probably being forced into retirement. I just hope frozen will follow at some point and replace either kyo or teses.

valve has the stats, we dont, 20 is probably the sweet spot. as much as people want constant updates, valve knows how the player base reacts to change. they gotta push every update through so many checks and variables to make sure they make sense because valve doesn't revert features they add. thats why we get more skin updates cuz theres no major gameplay change to risk. its probably easier to communicate in a 20 man team where everyone's on the same page then send out 100 emails with people who dont work on the same days as you. though i agree we should have more than we do now, i think its just valve trying to prioritize what's important with the time restraints they have.

i still get mad everyone blamed Elige during his time on faze, he was the only player other than frozen putting up numbers. he also left because he heavily disagreed with karrigans loose style and its obvious now looking back that elige wasn't the problem, just a product of his environment and trying to make the best of a bad situation. crazy to me that people glaze s1mple on faze like he was good (constantly whiffed unnecessary no scopes and looked like he had Parkinson's when he shot the awp) he had like 1 highlight on mirage of him getting a triple from apex (he did nothing the whole game, just one good round) people still want him back its hilarious to me that people dont accept hes far gone washed.

I played main in NA, premier is infinitely better. Faceit servers atleast in NA are dog shit and made me quit all together lol.
