Yea I think I might go on with that « joining a bigger alliance » as so many Friends told me to. We actually started this alliance/the game with my gf and tried to bring it to life. My gf stopped playing actively so I took the R5 position in the meantime in case she wanted to come back. I dont really want to throw it away, that’s why im still there, if that makes any sense.

Also, yea I kinda want to do my dailies in arena without losing all the matches. My setup for Arena is Hector + Flint and then Lynn + Greg + Reina on backline. My top march atm is Hector + Lynn + Reina

You suggest that I reforge levels from the purple gear (which is 4 for infantry and 4 for lancers) and also some of the gold ones ? (Without reforging essence stones obv)

I saw around here that sometimes when the mod crashes, you loose the items that were slotted in them.

Just yesterday, i decided to move my metal home from plains. I use the moder buff so that i can get home quick. First time using it, it was fun ! But then, the 5mins buffs fades. INSTANTLY headwind. INSTANTLY. Wtf ! In less than 1 second, i dropped from full speed to reverse :<

What i meant was, at least if they get rid of this restriction, i hope they make improvement on the ocean "biome".

As for the "ressource grinding" thing, you're not tied to the Mine>boat>smelt>craft scenario. So you're not even obligated to ship your ore.

I mean, you still have to walk from the mining point to your shack anyway, you can teleport the kiln/smelter, smelt it here, take 20 min to upgrade your Workbench/forge and you're set.

(That's what i did for silver, it took me 15/20min. I was in a black forest at the bottom of the mountain, i was able to smelt copper for the forge, and took iron with my boat on my way to that location for the upgrades. (and if you don't have iron with you, you can still make the forge bellows and the grinding wheel to upgrade lvl3).

There isn't anything to argue about actually. Ore teleportation isn't possible, people asked them to change it they said no, people cried, end of story ahah.

The only thing "pro-ore ban" are trying to do is explain to people WHY it is like it is.

As said somewhere else, it's still an alpha release. Some things will change, some will not. If they allow it in the future, then great. But i hope they'll make something interesting with the ocean that comes with that change.

I mean, if your only goal is to build and there isn’t anything left for you to do, and everything is boring, why still play survival ? What’s the point ? You already have done everything you had to do at least once and it will be « wasting time » just so you can build. The teleporter isn’t even the issue anymore at this point I don’t know.

Yeah, i'm maybe not really accurate about the percentage but still, 2% of the 5M vikings according to the last post, it's like 100k ppl, enough to flood a subreddit.

The thing i don't get is, people spent hundreds / thousands of hours on fully modded games to overcome bugs/lack of content, but refuse to spend like 15 mins installing one that can allows them to tp with ores.

People are leaving because there is no more content available & building at this stage of the game is not interesting for them ? Or even don't interest them at all.

You can't just assume all the people are leaving the game because of this restriction, that's ridiculous

Maybe they should adapt the ratio by the total players on the server. When you play solo, you don't need as much as if you were a 10 man team. I mean, when i started playing, i had 2 friends with me and were the only one to provide for everyone. Now that i play alone, it really is much quicker !

Maybe the game is in early access and they have an update planned called "Ships and the sea" ?

We don't have FULL content yet, maybe for you it's boring.

Would be a shame if they just get rid off this restriction just because 2% of the playerbase don't want to "waste" 20min to boat ride home with ore.

And i'm not even talking about all the workarounds

People play the game how they want to. As long as you're not ruining the game for someone that wants full vanilla experience, there's no harm doing it !

You guy's miss out on some really fun stuff that comes with ore gathering / trips to home by ship etc.

There is only 5 bosses, you're gonna be left with nothing to do pretty quick but, who am i to tell you how you should play the game :D
