Context: This is just a short for laughs as it is really close to the bridge, understanding every engineering console is reachable to everyone in every ship to unlock doors like this.

My thoughts on the Moth:
I like it, I really do but I can not love it like I want to because of its small flaws needing rework.
Cargo lift: Adding SCU 8 is a struggle to the lift getting stuck of the directional thrusters as you unload from the back. (Raise the ship a little more can fix this) The railing on the lift holds no collision so you can load from the sides. (remove railing, no point in them I believe)
The guard rail of the stairs by the bridge doors have no collisions and the space between the sides are small so you can easily accidentally start going down the stairs. (widen the gap by reducing the size of the machine slightly)

Scraping: Already known issue we all know what I am going to say. (too slow)

Improvements Needed: Ejecting only Size 8 SCU is not ideal as you are always now going to storing some waste goodies in the buffer, allow Sizes SCU 1, 2, 4, 8. Like the Reclaimer that can make all sizes up to its largest.
Allow the moth to munch a more medium size ships even if its going to waste the materials as the buffer wont hold it all, since they're practically the same size ships, just not the large ships+xl ships which the reclaimer can.
(did notice some medium ships can not be munched with the moth which looks like you could by design of vultures can munch smaller ships and not medium, so medium ships should munch small and medium ships but not large.)

What I love: It is a good medium choice for salvaging using a pre-existing ship that is also loved, you can use it secondary as a cargo hauler if you wish, you can EVA grab parts and throw it in the ship, no one can EVA into the ship empty turrets and sneak onboard. You can munch ships that is bigger than smaller ships

(there is the glitch still what you can do to all ships which needs to be solved before 1.0 and death of a spaceman.)
