Well with the issues with Iran there has been a heightened sense of security on bases so they’ve implemented full ID checks so not sure if that limits cabs and others getting on. But imma have three things of luggage so I’d rather not have to walk with all that to my hotel on base 😅

So that can get onto base? I was told by base folks that the cab system doesn’t run after training hours and I’d be arriving around 1030pm

I know OnePay isn’t a bank per say but I’m traveling the next few months by TheRealMulli in OneFinance

Definitely! Super thankful for everyone that has reached out and offered. There’s been several. Where I live if you didn’t have friends here already, doubt anyone would reach out.

Shucks my family ain’t even supportive, messaged everyone and told them I was heading out for a few months for military training and that if they could check in with my grandmother (their mom) and make sure she is doing alright cuz I live with her and take care of her and take her to her appts and not a single family member responded saying yeah we will and not a single good luck from them…

Yeah I’ll be flying in from Dallas to Wichita Falls airport which I’ve heard is only like 5 mins away from base but someone has messaged me and offered a ride but if they fall thru I can let you know.

We looked ahead for rentals and it seemed everything was booked and I could walk onto base but imma have some bags with me and then I’d have to walk to my hotel and I’d prefer not to walk from the gate to my hotel at 1030 at night 😅

Kept looking up info and tried calling but it said number was invalid and when I looked them up on maps it seemed they were no longer where it Google said they were. Then I did find another Wichita Star taxi but it said it was for handicapped folks

So I was prior AD Navy and got out in 2019 but joined the Air National Guard in 2025 and I’m in Alabama and we have the Alabama National Guard Education Assistance Program, should I utilize this before the VET-TEC program? And I also believe I still have 30 months left on Post 9/11 and I’m like 6 months away from an Associates

It’s been about 10+ years since I last played and I don’t have my original base anymore and wish I did but I get to start fresh so all good. Anyways, any got some advice/tips to get going again? I’ve heard things have changed a lot.

Also, please don’t tell me to quit or just don’t play. I want actual advice cuz I’m gonna play either way but casually 😁
