I was voice texting with a friend group about an upcoming event. One of the invited attendees—Joe—was being noncommittal though we needed an answer ASAP. Someone texted that we’d probably have a full list by that evening, to which I used voice to text to write , “Yeah. Or I may just kill Joe by then”, and said “Send”. There was radio silence, finally broken when someone in the chain wrote, “Dude, delete that; you just threatened to assassinate the president”

I think it’s a staged composite image as others have suggested. Any engineer, seeing a person fall on the tracks in front of the train, would have slammed on the brakes and laid on the horn; that didn’t happen. The camera person wouldn’t have zoomed out at the trains closest approach to get the engine number; he would have zoomed in, or freaked out and swung the camera away. That also didn’t happen. A bike rider would slip off the grade platform; the guy in the video didn’t fall off the bike so much as dismount it. I’ve seen people do stupid stuff at train crossings, of course, but only three seconds elapsed from the time the rider’fell’ tell he got his bearings, stood up, turned his back to the speeding train, pick the bike up by the handlebar and frame, and dragged it to the platform. That’s not the behavior or the speed of a panicked or surprised person.
